I can translate once I figure it out, but I may need help on that. I have a friends who is a HAM radio operator, gonna see if they have to know morse for that.

There's a Morse translation tool on unfiction's online tools page, as well as Morse charts and whatnot. I downloaded Audacity but never got around to installing it, I'll try to do that tonight although somebody will probably have this decoded by the time I figure it out.

Just a note regarding the filename: those are two unicode values for kanji (I'm assuming that explains the very English song following talk about j-pop).

The kanji are 復讐 (fukushuu), which you should be able to see if you have a Japanese language pack installed on your OS. It translates to "vengeance".

By the way, johnnybmoto, what time was it that Yori sent the email saying it was almost 2:30? That'll narrow down where she actually lives.

Well, due to being in school I can't see anything except the image because of a lack of Flash.
On the image though there seems to be backwards text added in areas. It's easy enough recogniseable from the text actually in the image when looked at closely. Looks to be encoded as well.

call me a n00b, but yori said he/she worked for a subsiduary of a large german company, who couldnt be named. yori then went on to say that he/she liked the "beetles", which is a typo of "beatles". however, volkswagen is a massive german company and one of their most famous cars was the beetle. he/she also apologised for his/her english. perhaps a clue to draw us to the typo?
