[Trailhead?]Mercury Slipspace Communications Probe
New Official Halo ARG or a fan ARG?

Thought I'd bring attention to this new ARG going on. Started on February 12, 2008 at the forums for the PraetoriaGuard Clan. It focuses on a UNSC probe called Mercury SS Com Probe UNSC-7236.R333.1384.N581.1261.7783.Y313

Here's a timeline of events.

2/12/2008-Mercury SS's first post to PraetoriaGuard. His account has a link attached http://www.mercuryss.net/

2/14/2008-Mercury SS collides with US Spy Satellite USA 193, sending both crafts out of orbit.

2/19/2008-Site stated to have changed to the countdown for the Video Databurst, ending February 23, 12:03 AM. Site also has a sound file that was a spectrogram:

2/20/2008-Mercury SS hacks SteelValor.net. Only trace to remain is: http://www.steelvalor.net/mercuryss/
Morse Code means: Mercury SS Com Probe to any UNSC forces. Please respond.

2/22/2008-Site changes again showing the time of the Video Databurst as being at 7:00:03 Athens Time.

2/23/2008-Site changes again allowing access to the video. Inputing the codes from the spectrogram (you need to do this in 10 seconds) allows access to a corrupted video. The video is said to contain some codes in yellow text and ends with a Halo symbol of some kind. A link also appears that goes to a page that says that a Log file will be released in the same fashion (also needing a code) at the same time on February 24.

EDIT 2: Oh, as of 12:00 AM EST 2/23/2008, there's 32 hours of battery life left so that means, as of this edit, there's exactly 30 hours left on the satellite's batteries.
