The Wii is a GIANT leap forwards in console design. It's cheap, it's fun, it's intuitive and it's incredibly versatile.

I admit the Wii sells more consoles because most Wii fans are old and lil kids. The Wii sells a little more than double what PS3 sells and ps3 is double in value so they are making the same amount of money. And its not what game im playing on the PS3 that i cant play on 360 or PC its what game im playing on PS3 that i cant on the Wii, Heres a little list: Resistance fall of man, Call of Duty 4, Devil May cry 4, StrangleHold, Unreal, Darkness, Ghost Recon, Uncharted, Rainbow six, Condemned, Dark Sector, Assasins Creed, Heavenly Sword. NOT TO mention games coming out: Metal Gear Solid 4, Kill zone 2, Resistance 2, Haze.
Good games for the Wii: Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, Metriod, SSBB, Mario Kart. Please tell me good Wii games other then those 5 or shutup.


The Wii sells more because it's a better console. Most people I know that own a Wii are in their 20s. The Wii has introduced more people to console gaming than any other machine because it's intuitive.

More good games on the Wii? Sure. I'll make them Wii exclusives too seeing as all but three of the games you mentioned are available on the PC and/or Xbox.

I'm including games which are upcoming too seeing as you did the same.

There are more but I'll stop there.

Out of all of those games you mentioned the only ones I want to play are available on the PC, so why should I fork out for a PS3 which will be obsolete within a couple of years when I could just soup up my PC to run everything I want for less and it won't end up in a closet covered in dust when the newer model comes out?

My assumption would be no. From what i know about the guys over at 1-18-08news im pretty sure i saw someone say over there that Paramount cannot stop the production of this game because it is for the fans by the fans, and it doesnt follow any type of solid storyline that Paramount has copyright infringement protection over. Dont flame me for sayin that, but i think thats what was said.

 		dammit. This is how i get trouted twice in one month man. I just dont look stuff up before i post it. But, in my own defense, i DID hear that said over at 1-18-08news, somethin about how its for the fans and its not being sold, and it doesnt follow the exact same storyline, or somethin like that. Either way, once again im a frikkin moron, so ill just bust out my fishin pole and try to catch one o them trouts bout to be swimmin around below me here, lol.

But just to show that i AM paying attention now, i have to say this:
The wiki that you just brought up, in the legal issues area, is talking about fanmade games that were made by taking elements from existing games, or just changing minor elements of the existing game. In this case with Cloverfield, The official video game for Cloverfield hasnt even been made yet, so i dont see why this would qualify under that category. I would have to say that if Paramount pictures ltd. Decides to take Brad and company over at 1-18-08news.com to court for makin a totally standalone fanmade game, they would be in relatively uncharted territory. Im not so sure that this would be something that is so easily taken down...

 		I highly doubt that this would ever go to court. The way I see this playing out if Paramount really wants the game production to be stopped is that they'll just send a letter to the developers with a nice legal header on it at which point the game creators would probably take it down of their own volition. I don't see Paramount spending big bucks on court fees to take down a fan made video game and I don't see the game creators putting up a huge stink about it since they obviously enjoyed Paramount's creation in the first place and would most likely want to respect the wishes of the studio. On the flip-side it would be interesting if it did go to court.

You did read the bit where it said Fox got an Aliens fangame using the Quake engine taken down didn't you?

Wii>360>PS3

Tell me a good ps3 game that either a) isn't incredibly easy or b) holds my attention for more than a few hours. If you say heavenly sword i'll stab you in the neck.
I have all 3, and ps3 has failed horribly. I see it going just as badly as psp (though i assume sails will skyrocket once blu-ray becomes a bit more popular).
Btw, you're forgetting huge facts such as the fact that you can download an enormous amount of old nintendo games from a library. Not unlike microsoft's arcade. And sony's....wait, nvm, sony doesn't offer that.
Nintendo also has another system coming up rather soon, while the other two are basking in the glory they are getting. Well, xb360 is basking in the glory...ps3 is just attempting to survive.

Look, I'm not saying ps3 is an all-around terrible system. It looks like it has some decent games coming out. But the wii is dominating them. You have already proved your inability to think correctly; you state on one page that wii sales are doing horribly, then say later that they are only doing well because of old people and children. You need some humble pie. Mmmm, delicious.

 		Not trying to be rude or call anybody out, but isn't there other forums to fight the counsol wars in? Or, failing that, you can move this little discussion to the Off Topic section, at least until the Cloverfield Fan Game gets a counsol makover.
