What fell from the sky at the end and is there a mother

Supposedly it was a satellite that Tagruato was tracking, but since the common public didn't know that bit of background information, it'll probably pass at the monster itself.

As for the mother part, there wasn't in the movie, but there's been much speculation over whether there is one or not. I don't think there should be, simply because that would be too much like the movie "Gorgo."

the best answers to almost any question regarding this movie are 'maybe' and 'we don't know'. In this case, I'd say we don't know what the falling object was for sure and that maybe the monster has a mother, but again, we don't know.

I think there is a mother and the mother is in another "gas station" I really don't think they are gas stations i think that they r research places and the baby broke out and the mother is still caught and being tested also on slusho there is somthing on happy talk that says "to much cranberry crush makes your stomach explode" I think the parasiter venom is cranberry crush but they sanatized

Yeah, but the vast majority of people who saw the movie didn't know about Tagruato, Slusho, or TIDOwave, either...

...doesn't mean they're not important to the story.

I am pretty sure that it is the tagruato satellite,because of the date it fell from the the sky 4-27 and the night the attack took place was in may of the same year so the monster had to have been awakened by the satellite,but I do have another theory that what fell from the sky could have been a nuclear test and the creature could have had a bad reaction to it.

Come on, now, that's ridiculous.

Don't you think a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION happening off the coast of the eastern seaboard would be noticed? Why would anyone nuke-test, anyway? Nuclear testing has been banned for something like 20 years now.

Besides that thing that fell into the water IN NO WAY resembled any sort of nuclear device.
