People got CELL PHONES?!? I heard they got phone calls ON their cell phones, but I don't think they were handed a brand new phone or anything.

People received cellphones that were contained inside a Gotham PD evidence bag baked inside of a cake...

Also another recent German ARG involved like a truckload of Motorola Razr phones.

I'm guessing I've received a bunch of a stuff and my wife and son are keeping it all. Evil or Very Mad

The point was that I haven't just jumped in here #8
And I've already worked on one of the puzzles #30
And others have said that this is an ARG #67 et al.

Really? That's weird - it was in regular letters when I signed up, but then again, I remember reading one of the earlier posts in this thread, where they said something about a "cool font" on the name line. Are people getting different fonts, and if so, how? Maybe something having to do with your IP address, assuming it's not just a random thing?

It's more likely having to do with the browser you are using and what fonts load automatically in your computer. Any kind of "cursive" font is a specialty font. Plain, basic fonts like you are reading now tend to be used as the default fonts when the specialty font isn't available.

Yeah, but the previous poster mentioned that he signed up twice, and got two different fonts. Unless he was signing up on two different computers (which maybe he was?), I don't see how this could be just a "coincidence" thing.

on3badmammajama - were both sign-ups on the same computer, or different computers?

All of my signups were on the same computer.

If it matters I was on a mac using firefox

EDIT:: I'll try signing up on my cousins pc when I get home later today..But I'm sad to assume that this isnt an ARG. Or at least a very well thought out one =/

I'm not giving up on the ARG thing yet - I can't see why else they would have gone to all this trouble. Maybe they're just waiting for things to get busier as it gets closer to the release date of the movie.

I signed up on my computer at work, and I got the "regular" font. I'll try signing up again on my personal computer when I get home (both are PCs), and see if it changes anything.

Ok, for the record, I got the "regular" font on both computers. I know that's not exactly a large sample group Razz, but there it is, nonetheless.

I've enjoyed the game so far - I'm expecting more "breakthroughs" as we get closer to the release of the movie at the end of next month.

Some of those tattoos on Angelina Jolie's back and arms are real? Do you happen to know which ones? That might make a difference in trying to figure out which ones could be important to the game. Of course, I suppose I could figure it out if I read enough copies of "People" and "The National Enquirer", but there's only so much abuse I'm willing to subject myself to for the sake of a game...
