Hmm, good point. Do we risk a post-5 p.m. meet-up?

Shame I can't be there this time. I'm in London next week but it'll all be over by then. Sad

Hmmm I've just been looking at all the other addresses, they're all quite significant actually, there's three book stores and the british library...hope we're not on the wrong track with the strand.

Do they form the five points of a Pentagram? Now you see how my brain works? Mr. Green

haha, I think your saying you're not a satanist is a bluff and actually your a grand high satanist priest...

Just got back from Penguin, thought we'd got the wrong place at first, the receptionist acted very confused and didn't know who we were talking about. Then she remembered they'd had an old employee called sadie who'd left some books behind, as luck would have it they were still there since the reception is also half library, we found Mirror and looked through and found some letters underlined, about 20 I think, they didn't make any sense so they must be in code, mseckington wrote them down but we couldn't make anything of them, batgirl even did a rot 13 whilst we were there.

we'll have to wait for mseckington to get back with her pad before we can start decoding, she went back to get soem photos of the book too just in case.

<OOG>Incidentally I thought I spotted someone watching us as we came in to the building, rather suspiciously he was in a cap and non business gear and was leaning up against a wall reading a book in a position to see everyone who came in, I'm guessing someone from six to start who needs to hide better :p </OOG>

We didn't know you couldn't make it. We waited as long as we could but it's replayable so to speak if you can still go another day.

We got a code from the book, mseckington has it so she can post it.
I tried a quick ROT13 but it didn't yield anything. I'm off to the theatre now!

The code is:

I went back to make photos, but that wasn't allowed. So sadly no pics.

Wow! I go out to make one little radio ad, and miss all the fun! (not that I could have gone, but I could've spent all afternoon wondering what was going to happen.

Can someone tell this newbie what a "rot 13" is please? Smile

Faustus - are you sure you didn't see the Doctor?! (insert dramatic music here)
Now, to put my brain to work...

OOG BTW Cabbage, upside down pentagrams, such as the one you linked to may be a Satanist symbol, but right way up (with a point at the top) is linked to Pagan relgions such as Wicca, and has nothing to do with Devil worship.

I go to the cinema and this happens! I went and worked out the puzzle to to get the answer, but could have told you it before the brain processing - the sad thing was I recognised the Penguin address!

It's a simple substitution cipher. As used by the Romans, so also known as the Caesar salad cipher.

I fear that we have something far more fiendish...

Thanks Cabbage. I guess since we've come this far, they're not gonna give us a cloo as easy as that are they? Smile

Guess it isn't encrypted then.
