Naomi's in:

Quote:
Hey there Smile

just to say, I'm going to be in the Farringdon area giving a talk on Tuesday night so if it were OK I might pop in to your meet-up. What d'you reckon? Don't want to crash!

- Naomi

As I'm struggling to find the place we went to last time (still looking), I've asked Naomi if she would like to recommend somewhere.

EDIT: Found it! Got confused because it was a Goose, not a Wetherspoons. I'll wait to see what Naomi suggests but the address is 4 Leather Lane, EC1N 7RA.

I *finally* read Alice's last post - I put it off for ages as until I'd read it, it hadn't ended. That's sad isn't it :/

Hope my voting wasn't too late - I think that was such a nice idea by them to do, acknowledging how this was a community effort and in the spirit of that get us to share the love Smile

If anyone wants to find me on facebook too I'm Daisy Slade - there's only 2 and I'm not the one in america with the group about her!

Can't wait for Tuesday - The Goose sounds good to me Amadeus, it was very cheap, had real ale, did food and had an outdoor seating area so just what we're after really Smile
I can be there from 5pm - what time will others be arriving?

You mean you're not the real batgirl?

I noticed that the email acknowledgements from Alice now come from Marsh-Ayre and Klein Books. A nice touch!

I am hoping to make it on Tuesday - I can be up by about 5 pm onwards. Won't want to stay too late in the evening though.

Nooo! I go on holiday for a week, and come back to find I've missed the grand finale!

Looks like it was a good one. I'm gonna miss we tell stories and this forum...let's hope Six to Start have more projects on the way.

I've put it up as The Landlord. It's entirely e-mail based, really well done. Unfortunately I have had to drop out, but it is worth watching the story unfold!

Could I just confirm what I think the arrangement for the wrap party/drink is:

Tomorrow, 13 May, from xxx p.m. (not sure) at the Goose, 4 Leather Lane, London EC1N 7RA.

I'll be there a little early and I'll probably have my Stetson with me that I got on a recent trip to Texas.

PS Also done my nominations. As I couldn't narrow it down I had to give her four names and told her any would be worthy. I know that's plenty but I have this niggling feeling I should've nominated far more people, such was the spirit of the community.

I won't be able to make it as I'm stuck in the South-West too (and, irritatingly, missed the finale because I was in London for the day). Sad

Anyway, I shall miss the adventure. Is now the right time to admit to all the pet theories that you'd wished had worked out?

I spent far too long tracing the houses for sale in Slice's blog and plotting them on Google Earth in the hope of triangulating the location of MO! I got quite a long way with that one, but now know far more about London house prices than I think is healthy.

I was also convinced that tenfivegirl was in game (10-5 in CB code meaning 'message relay') and that she would turn out to be a Jabber bot that would dispense some sort of clue... Rolling Eyes
