Good find Wukka! Do you think they work in one of those buildings?

Thursday Meetup

I'm definitely going to try and make it to the meetup with Jacques on Thursday. Anyone want to meetup earlier? I'm still trying to find a nice coffee place around Farringdon. Anyone know of one?

It's not really a coffee shop type of area but I've been told Smith's of Smithville is nice for meeting up and relaxing in (though I haven't been there myself as I don't go out in Clerkenwell) and I've been told you can't miss it as well:

Thanks for the tip, batgirl!

I'm killing 2 birds with one stone. I'll be holding the next London Girl Geek Coffee at SoS from 3pm-7pm.

http://geekdinner.co.uk/

All girls are welcome to join us Smile (sorry guys). Will sneak out to meet up with Jacques.

Watches

Just got this from Alice:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Dear Wukka -

I'm afraid my watch is one of those "ladies watches" (my father bought it for me for my 16th birthday) which doesn't have any numbers on the face. Perhaps ladies are supposed to get confused by numbers.

I'm certain it's my watch, though. The little place that it's scratched on the glass is from when I fell over a few years ago. I suppose someone could have made a new scratch in another watch but what I don't understand is why.

Thanks for your help Wukka, I'm sure there's a logical explanation too.

All the best,
Alice

which fits in with my earlier theory:

Um... so yeah. Just keeping you up to date, really.

She doesn't say if that scratch is on the opposite side to where it was now though....

Camden Locks

Awesome find, Wukka. Does anyone know Camden well enough to identify the building that we're looking at? The front would be on Oval Road, across the street from the Holiday Inn, it appears.

I don't know if this location is part of the current story, or a clue in the larger game. Worth checking out, though.

On today's story, there is a new nav button called "Show Previous Days". So, if we're collecting letters with splatters/paw prints, we can add "D".

D/J/T/N/I ?

Well I certainly wasn't planning to come down to London on Thursday just for this live event but seeing as I now have a job interview very early Friday morning in Richmond, I'm now staying over on Thursday and would very much like to come. When's everyone meeting up?

Secondly, I still can't get the chatroom on 'Your Place and Mine' to come up, despite turning off the pop-up blockers. It's almost as if the links aren't there, as the cursor doesn't change when it hovers over them.

Finally, veebee, your poetry is fantastic. I just want to say that. Smile

Try this - http://wetellstories.co.uk/stories/week4/chat/

It opens up the chat page as a normal browser page, not as a javascript driven popup

I was going to say not my kind of music, but it's actually kind of trashy. catchy (edited..how did i manage to type that?) Missing the link to Alice though. Ot was created in 2006, so possibly not in game.

EDIT - sometimes Google is scary, as it already has veebee's post as second in the search
