Hi, this is Henry.
I hope I have contacted the friend I meant to contact.
If so, then you will probably know that our site got hacked a couple of months ago.
If you're not, then I apologize sincerely for contacting you.
(A couple of months ago, our site was hacked and our contacts' email addresses were lost.
I am currently contacting people off the top of my head and my memories are not flawless.)

If you are who I think you are, then you will be glad to know that we are slowly
getting back on track with our program.

As of today, I'm twittering:
http://tinyurl.com/b5fvkg

Also, our site is still not fully up, but stay tuned:
http://tinyurl.com/d67wsc

Stay in touch.

Your friend,

Dr. Henry Mandelstrom

First link goes to Twitter: http://twitter.com/Pharmament

Second goes to their website: http://www.pharmament.com/

Take it for what it's worth. Already emailed them we'll see what happens.

Catherwood in chat apparently pinged the server and got the IP

http://208.109.1.121/

Zomg, VIRUS.

Also, coming April 1st? Sketchy...

EDIT: Ok, so that links to another game going on already called The Secret Organisation.... perhaps it's done by the same people, hence the same IP?

Rampant speculation ahoy.

My intention wasn't to set off another trail -- there is a thread for that pre-existing game. It was only meant to try to identify the PMs. For the record, both eyeamhere.com and pharmament.com are hosted on a GoDaddy server, where unrelated domains can share virtual hosting. Both domain names were registered within the past 2 weeks using Domains By Proxy. It is circumstantial evidence.

I'm quite new to Arg's, so hope my questions don't come off stupid Smile

Does any of you have experience with different games that ran parallel by one team, or by teams that were affiliated in some way?

This because the platforms used by pharmament (till now) are different than the platforms used by tso (twitter vs myspace, hotmail vs gmail etc.).

Just checking, cause it seems very obvious that they are connected, but I am wondering if it's an ingame connection or just a PM connection.

Any ideas?

I got this email as well and was THIS close to sending it to the round file as it's not my policy to click tinyurls in emails from people I don't know.

Knowing where they go now, (You're braver than I, Crispy) I can kinda see why they were tiny'd as "Pharma-anything" in the inbox usually gets terminated with extreme prejudice.

But the text did look like a try at a launch. So I looked around a bit and found this.

Guess I'll give the TSO stuff a look.

Our hacking problem, except for one small bug, has already been solved, permanently.
Shall I add you to our mailinglist?

[META] I don't think that this here is related to "The Secret Organisation" Game [/META]

But I think nobody mentioned here that if you reload the page, somtimes a "hacked" version appears with a code:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Braille Code:
haxhoax[at]hotmail.co.uk

Has somone tried to contact him/them?

@AUZ505: deleted my post here about the braille email address as I later saw it was a dupe to snorkle's at TSO. Confused
However, I did email. Am awaiting a reply and hopefully something to clarify that this is separate to TSO.

ATM only the Under Construction page is up. Saved the "Pharmament_hacked.jpg" yesterday. The page had a source msg:
Code:
Pharmament is conducting tests on innocent people. They are dangerous. Hackers unite! Contact me

Sorry for polluting the thread, but I'm really curious if we have found any solid link between Pharmament and The Secret Organisation.
I know they seem to be hosted under the same IP address, but it seems that this detail might be coincidence. I haven't seen any other solid link, but have been following mostly the TSO thread...

Thanks in advance,
O

i'm assuming that this is a new ARG and hopefully i can get in from the start? have mailed pharmament anyway so as to be kept in touch.

of interest, possibly...

amongst well known 'weishaupt's in history, is adam weishaupt, who i believe is supposed to be a founding father of the illuminati movement? adam weishaupt also had a fair bit to say about the concept of happiness, in connection with a change in the entire population. could be one conspiracy too far, but who knows Smile
