I've never heard this version before, where did you find it? From my minor knowledge of Greek stories, the ancients didn't particularly care about male dalliances whilst at sea (though female infidelity was a big no-no). As I said I'm no classics scholar, but I can't imagine that an ancient greek audience would feel the need for any such justification. I do think there will be a strong link to the minotaur story though since we got those clews'n all.
Could Kai represent Dionysus? He has decided to swoop in and save Ariadne from being lost and alone. (also Kai sounds like Di, is Kai a common name in Africa?)
If there is more down this route, then what of the monster - Ariadne's brother? She has said she 'must have family' (though not in a context which makes that certain) If she is from a sixth continent (which she may or may not be) then perhaps it will be one of her countrymen (a half- brother) who will pose a threat from which our heroes must save the world.

babelfish didn't produce anything particularly coherent. Basically Diego is suggesting that someone send Markus a message in german asking for his email address.

 		just wanted to note here before i run off to work..

i emailed Markus via flikr and via youtube, asking him for a regular email address in which to contact him.

I also caught Patrol's transcription of Markus' video in the chatroom, where he said he knows of "five other" people that are like him.
I asked him in the youtube mail, who was the other person, since we've only identified four others besides him.

I've got to run to work. (no internet conex, there but i'll try to check in somehow and let you know if he responds.

Hi everyone, I have read a couple of posts and I'm Martin Romero, and one of my nicknames is Negrito_funes. So I'm also the one who is writing the Blog at www.Clarin.com
I tried to contact Diego yesterday and sent him an email but never gt any answer.
I was trying to guess is there any common feature between all the people who received the package? I mean, are we all game developers? or programmers or just normal people?
Well I'm a Game Designer and since I received the package, and my first thought was... This could be something about the game developer community, I also asked in the Argentine Game Developer Asociation and no one got any of those pakcages.

My pakage conatined the following data:

- Same Olympic poster with the message like everyone.
- postcards:

1. RAAIMOGO
2. RAAIMO72
3. XAALN033

on the small message I've got "you will soon demonstrate great courage"

I guess the fact that Diego appeared in Argentina and there are a couple of Arentine fellows here is something or just a coincidence?

So, I'll staty tuned and if there's anything I can do to help, just let me know.

 		Like ncfriend, I messaged Markus via YouTube messages, asking him for his e-mail. I told him the list of other e-mail addresses, and told him that I only speak a little bit of Spanish and Japanese, but no Chinese. I figured he could tell from my rusty German that I was not a native speaker either.

first let me say hello to you all, because I am new around here.

I just catched up with all the posts. As I am from Germany, maybe I can help communicate with Markus. My english is quite ok but definitly not perfect. But I think it's good enough Wink

And it would be really funny, to be part of this, because I don't have much experience in ARGs yet.

I already left a comment in Ariadnes Blog and I will write Markus a mail and offer him my help, too.

I like the spec idea, but Kai lost a toe--that's an interesting price to pay, even for a nefarious scheme. On the other hand, he is supposedly wealthy, having sold his company and retired. I wonder just how wealthy...

I don't know if this is already posted, but a reader of the blog I write gave me some data, maybe it's new, maybe not. I just wanted to share with you all.

First: The draws of Diego (He keep saying that he don't know why, byt he does the same drawing) could be this one.

The secnd, there's a video of a girl, Larissa from San Pablo, Brazil. I could understand 95% of what she said.

"4 years ago she knew a girl exactly like Ariadne, she also said that 4 years ago this girs was found on a labyrinth and she look exactly like Ariadne, but at that time she was known as Renata.
She said that Renata and her became best friends, although Renata was kind of reserved with some stuff.
She said that 3 months later they both went to a trip (she didn't mention where) and Renata just dissapear".

He thanks me for the help and says he's contacted Ariadne, Noriko and Meihui but didn't understand Markus' language (german?, he asks). Maybe I can get him the email - DONE! He says maybe I'll talk to Markus in english or have a friend who'll talk to him in german. He also says that white clothing and goggles (refering to the question I made him, if that rang a bell to him) don't ring a bell, and if the goggles covered his eyes (he has contacted her - Ariadne), that's all very strange. He then thanks again.

It seems there will be some interaction between the characters. That will be interesting to see.

Spec time: this kinds of abductions/disappearing happen every 4 years (like the olympics!) and maybe they've been happening since 1920, hence the poster. 1920 could've been the first time this things happened. By the way, anything you need in portuguese just ask.
