Hola !!

Ya me he
contactado con Ariadne, Noriko y Mei Hui. Todavía no pude contactarme
situación? anyone else like us?

thanks thanks thanks !

I speak Spanglish.

"Thank you very much for trying to help me, I am receiving many emails and I can't believe all the help that I have been offered. I have already made contact with Ariadne, Noriko, and Mei Hui. I still haven't been able to make contact with Markus (the boy with the tattoo photos on Flickr), if you're able to try to ask him in German (or someone who knows German) for his email so that I can contact him, that would be terrific. Is there anyone else in our situation? anyone else like us?"

Communication with Markus

I sent a mail to Markus a few minutes ago and already got an answer. I offered him my help in translating things for him, if he wants to write something in english.

He asked me to translate a note for Diego:

My name is Markus. I have Amnesia and I need your help. Can you aid
me somehow?

I also asked him about the FIVE persons he is talking about in his video. I wanted to know their names from him, because we know only four plus him (Ariadne, Diego, Mei-Hui and Noriko). Maybe he can give us a clue, who the last missing person is and where he/she is at the moment.

I will post his answer as soon as I can.

Greetings
XaRen

Xaren, that seems fine to me. I sent him an email, in spanish, telling him Markus' email and asking if he had met anyone after waking up (I like ncfriend's "watchers" theory). I don't have many time right now but in a few hours I'll come back and we'll see how we're going to do it - maybe later I can ask Diego if he has anything to say or ask for Markus.

Ranata "Find Her" Link

Going out on a limb here, but we've all found Ariadne, not her true identity yet, but she's in Johanasberg, so not really lost.

The one who IS missing that we have uncovered is this girl Ranata. Perhaps that is who we need to find?

The postcard did say "find her"

Just speculation?
Ideas?

Find the Lost Ring

Hey guys, Toggo here, from Argentina, I might help with some info regarding Diego.
We are using the theory that this ARG is related with the minotaur myth, so if we check Ariadne is the girl trapped in the labyrinth with the minotaur, theseus kills the minotaur after reaching the island by sailboat.
So if these guys are athletes, theseus might be an athlete related to yacht racing, rowing races or wrestling (cause he wrestles with the minotaur).
Diego is argentinian, a place known of their great sailing and rowing skills in the Olympics, he looks tall, with big arms anf a big back so he fits with the physical descriptions of a sayling athlete.
he is also drawing all day the labyrinth so, he could be theseus because he is someone who have been in the labyrinth.
Or he could be Daedalus, the architect who design the labyrinth.
Ariadne and Theseus left crete towards Athens, but theseus leaves behind Ariadne , who fells asleep in the island of Naxos, where she became the wife of Dionysus and then killed by Artemis.
Thats all i have so far,
Greetings from Argentina

I've got a response from Diego:
Diego wrote:
Hola XXXXX!

Hasta ahora me he

6) hi5, youtube y google videos, me recomendás algún otro?

The first part talks about the same things you already know. He is also saying that he's aware of the existence of the other four (he doesn't name Markus directly though), and asks me about the others e-mails.
Now, I think we have new info in the second part, the answers to my questions. I'll try to translate them:
1) I wanted to know the exact location of the maze... he said:
"It was the garden of a private manor, I don't know the exact address. It was a big house with a laberynth of ligustrinas[1]"
[1] If I'm not mistaken, the scientific name for that plant is: Ligustrum vulgare.
2) You all already know what clothes he was wearing.
3) About how he had managed to live the first days:
"The first days I wondered the city sleeping in squares, at the end I joined a group of street jugglers, and I'm living with them now, visiting squares hoping to find anybody who could recognize me".
4) About his recurrent dreams:
"A few times I had a dream about figures that are drawn multiple times, and start to create patterns, it's weird and difficult to explain, I know!"
5) About doctors:
"I dind't go to any doctor, to be honest I'm feeling perfectly fine of health"
6) I tried to get more websites about him, but without luck.
Finally, I asked him about his name... ¿Why is he using Diego Malabar?
This was the answer:
"Ah! They call me Diego because of the "Diego of the people", consecuence of not knowing my name when they asked me, and Malabar is a pseudo-surname I have invented, nothing else."

Hope this helps.

RENATA:
From the Late Latin Renatus (reborn), which is derived from renascor (to be born again, to grow or rise again). The name was a common baptismal name signifying spiritual rebirth.

Right... Why it doesn't surprise me? Classic clichè about us... Apparently we Argentinians are only good for football/soccer....

Anyway, If "Diego" is a football player, maybe the others are athletes of their respective countries most popular sport... or at least, of the sport they excel at.

There's a new Ariadne blog up (My life is weird):

Quote:
I've learned all 108 forms in the past few days. Apparently that's quite odd. According to my new friends, the Pings, usually it takes years to master all the forms. Not me – I got them basically all on the first try, and remembered them perfectly.

She mentions muscle memory too. Someone else in this thread mentioned fencing. Most importantly, how in the 1920 Olympics, Nedo Nadi "won the most gold medals ever in fencing at a single Games". Could her muscle memory of all the forms of Tai Chi be related to her life as a fencer? Fencing, and the forms of fencing, would certainly benefit from the forms and control of Tai Chi (over, say, swimming or archery). I'm wondering: are these five spiritural reincarnations or mirrors of original athletes from the 1920s? I think one of the other character's diary entries mentioned feeling like an 80 year old woman (" I thought I was 80-year-old Miss, moving not dynamic.") - in reference to the slowness and sluggishness that she awoke.

After reading some great spec from last night:

Perhaps Adriadne *is* from the future (hence her unique outfit and goggles and "non" accent). She does remind me a little of the composite picture on Time Magazine many years ago. It was a story about how the various ethnic looks will eventually meld into a human of the future because of all the international travel and mixing of "races".

Maybe she represents the Renata - someone who appears and disappears for every Olympics?

I like the spec about representing the athletes of 1920, but all of the other folks are too confortable with modern life and language to have come from the past.

Yeah, it could be, but its not an old olympic sport such as 400 mts, or swimming, thats why I related Diego with two activities we are good at besides soccer, also the first argentinians who went to the olympics participated in rowing and another aquatic sports.
Maybe sports aren`t eve related to the game, who knows!

Email back from Nanashino Noriko. I asked about any dreams, where she is now, and where she woke up, and if she has a friend where she is now.

Quote:
Thanks for email. I am in Japan, woke in Okayama, Japan also.
Dreams? 。。? Not much English, I am sorry, only some.

I know no one in Japan. 。。

seems to indicate she is in a house of a doctor? working as home help?
