Ok seriously, what is Eli's motivation here?

He's publicly in search of this "most important game" that has been lost to time (so much so that he has a podcast liked by the olympic website), but he wants no one to know about the lost ring which at this point are clearly related.

This makes no sense to me. Why publicize only one part?

We have no concrete evidence that "Lost Ring" has anything to do with Mr Hunts "Lost Game/Sport". If he's asking us to not ask him about any "ring" then maybe that is a hint we should be looking for something different - or help him identify the lost sport and more evidence in that direction (or just use his information to help our TAs learn more about themselves)???? [SPEC]

I don't believe he sent out the boxes either (if any IG character sent the boxes, it would be Kai - directing us to Ariadne's website). However, these boxes and their contents are really OOG since they reference they are a game (of sorts) and knew about the other characters (Find Her, Find the Others, Find Him, Find the Mystery, etc).

The "Ring" is because of the tattoo that says in Esperanto "Find the Lost Ring".

We keep thinking about "ring" as an object or an olympic ring, but Ring can also refer to a number of other things/attributes:

Kai would know what name to use because of the tattoo on her arm. - already been mentioned, see above.

But I still wonder how she met Kai, did she find him or did he find her? He could be working with Eli. We just don't know. And until we find out I think we should tip-toe. I mean, something is going to happen on the 11th, maybe then is the best time to see in what direction to move towards, it's not that far away.

Focus on the others and use the information that Eli does provide until the 11th, that would be my route, but I'm not playing this by myself now am I?

Weezel, I think you're right that there may be something specific to the 1920 Olympics for us to find. I'm just not sure what set the 1920 games apart from the rest.

I'm highly suspicious of Eli. He's up to something. Either he doesn't want us butting in because he thinks we'd be a nuisance/we are crazies, or he doesn't want us to know about it.
