Bumpity Bump

There is a new blog entry... that seems to have disappeared. Or maybe it never was... But in any event, it (was) from Joshua, and his blog page is still there, just empty.

EdIT: apparently, he is the White Rabbit.

My question and answer:

Quote:
What is your purpose Joshua?

Answer: I seek to learn as much as I possibly can.

Doesn't tell us much, but then again I didn't really think I would get a straight answer to such a direct question.

Here's mine:

What do you like to do to have fun?

Answer: I have yet to understand the exact definition of "fun".

You can email Joshua now...

If you go to Dr. Linardi's blog, you'll find a new entry, and a link to a page where you can recommend some stuff for Joshua to partake in. One movie, one song, one book, and one work of art. Here's my recommendations:

Movie: V for Vendetta
Song: Imagine, John Lenon
Book: Lord of the Rings, JRR Tolkien (okay, so technically a trilogy, but the author intended for it to be one book!)
Work of Art: The Thinker (not a big art guy, so I just picked the first thing that came to mind)

Children of Hurin might be more appropriate for the way this is starting to turn.

You recommended the Necronomicon to an AI freshly activated? Either you're telling him to read a hilarious book that attempts to cash in on Lovecraft's mythos, or you're recommending he read a dread tome with forbidden knowledge held within it's black pages. This cannot end well.

Hilariously, but not well.

My suggestions -

Movie : Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind
Song : Knights of Cydonia by Muse
Book : A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr.
Art : Study for the Libyan Sybil by Michelangelo Buonarroti

Edit : got a beta login. my question was "What topic(s) are you most interested in learning about first?"

Edit 2: I like the fact that the wiki says "Somebody put content here", yet we're locked out of editing it.

No, I joined and I get the message that you have to be an administrator or selected moderator to edit the page.

Edit: the message

I am registered and currently logged in.

We've got you at a 12 attitude, we need you at about a 4.

The problem seems to have revolved around the fact that I couldn't join the wiki immediately after registering. Maybe that's an anti-spam feature or perhaps I just suck.
