For those of us who haven't already got your cubes stenciled out yet, I divided the pictures into six separate groups about the same size as a rubik's cube. It might make it easier to print it out this way, then cut and paste (literally).

You can add me to the list of people who got the cubes.

The other thing, Joshua posted a new picture in his blog. I am wondering if this is a clue as to how we need to move the squares in the cube to solve this puzzle as his picture is broken down into 6 blocks of 9 squares in 6 different colors and there is also a solid line breaking the 6 blocks into two pieces that I believe could be cut apart and folded into a cube.

Yep, I think the pics the key... does it matter what group of letters go on what color face?

EDIT: nevermind the bold line down the center divides it into part 2 and part 1.... I'm thinking the pic is the cube at starting point, that we should make the cube like the picture, then glue on the letters, then solve...

It's a standard Rubik's cube, Rubik's brand and all. You could buy one yourself to play along. As for putting the letters on, I'm either going to use a glue stick or just find a grease pencil and write them onto the cube.

And we can definitely use the interactive players. I'm out of my element sometimes trying to think on my feet in a conversation.

ETA - to add to NataS's conversation about JoshuaBot, a new blog post:

Ah, but you see, I would rather gouge my own eyes out than try and solve a rubik's cube Razz I have too many things in my room that would break should a small, cube-shaped object happen to be "accidentally" thrown at them...

@ natas...

Just asking, why not the other way around, or would it matter?

Also, this might be up for debate, but I think the letter in Row 2 Column 1 of My "altered" picture above is a Z, not a N. I noticed the top edge is smaller than bottom edge.

I did a quick runthrough on paper, most of the completed colors are random letters, white is wierd. Very wierd. I can't figure out what the middle row would be or why I'm coming up with two top rows

then again, I'm doing it on paper so everything I just said could be wrong.

The past few pages have confused me just a bit. The consensus seems to be that we're looking for a user/pass combo. Do we have either part and what should the format be of the piece(s) we still need?

3/11/2008 16:49 Are you aware of slogans? catchphrases that people use? These aren't my questions but this is:

What does "a penny for your thoughts" mean to you?

Answer: My thoughts are not worth a penny.

But, from a slogan standpoint, it means that someone would like to hear what you would like to say, so much so that they are willing to pay for such communication. Although I consider offering only a penny for something as complex as human thought rather demeaning.
