Been lurking for a while and following the game closely.

Try clicking on the satellite link, I think if we had enough power we could get an uplink.

Once you get onto that page, click the Satellite Communications (link) and it brings up the first picture...

In the bottom left you can see the word "Synsync Communication System"

Bottom right:

In the first picture it actually says sunsync - which could prove quite significant if we're still looking along the lines of electro/magnetic explanations.

Can anyone make out the name of the street in the second picture - maybe we can find out what that building is? Perhaps a company owns it (in game maybe) who we can contact....

There's also something significant about the power, the second you access commnet it drops to 1%, could the service only work during uk daylight hours? When in line with the sun perhaps?

It's Harrow Road... W2 (West 2) I believe... But, I wouldn't know where to start on finding the building number (address).

Edit: It's Paddington Green Police Station by all accounts:

Would the fact that this showed up whilst searching "Communication System" mean EITHER The Police are 'in on it' or... We're s'posed to somehow communicate w/ someone there?

I think the biggest clue is the sun sync issue - I think that when it's daylight over here - 3/4 hours or so - it might work.

More updates today!

The CommNet section is now accessible any time from the front menu and has normal power consumption. The satellite page has been fixed, the bullet points sorted and the first link has been made available to bridge cam. Yopu can zoom in and out and move around slightly.

There's also a new update to PublicNet.

Nothing too exciting I can find really...

Oh and does anyone know what the locations are on the subway map?

location 1 - acton town.

location 2 - baker street.

location 3 - monument/bank

location 4 - somewhere around palmers green maybe? difficult to tell exactly as the tube map isn't to scale.

couldn't tell you off the top of my head what connects these 4 places.

it's not a current tube map - the east london line is shown - at the moment its closed because they're extending. its also the wrong colour on the map, should be an orangey yellow, and its purple.
