I'm on the west coast and the website is still counting down to midnight.
I wonder if there is a different mission for us?


It seems as if the PM's are using the Marathon mission as a way to get a scene for their movie, which is no doubt about a cult. An innovative way to get free extras.

The First Mission:

If that makes you disheartened then just remember to look at Luke 6:38 While all paths will lead you to salvation, it is up to you to choose the path of Ratred. Either way you choose you will be met by one of our own and given further instructions.


Why do I have visions of NYPD firing tear gas rounds in to a crowd?

three dollar fee is if you want to join the marathon and "infiltrate" them. Otherwise, it looks like anyone who wants to rally at the ending area of the marathon doesn't have to pay. I'm not entirely certain what we're supposed to be doing here. Screentest.biz is a legitimate site which lends credence to Running America being a real documentary, however it's not listed in IMDB, but Running the Sahara is. That said, I'm wondering if we're actually going to be interfering with the filming of a real documentary?


Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time at work today to investigate this, but I'll be following this thread.

Looks like this is an ARG for a shortfilm being produced called The Ratred Prophecy, I searched for Mikrotone Concepts and found a Myspace and profiles at other film related sites:

 		i dont think this is for a short, i just started checking this arg out and it seems like its for a feature, the myspace.com/ratred page has a blog saying its converting to the page for a feature. from what i gather, it seems that these guys made a short that landed them a deal for the feature, and now this is to market the feature. imdb lists it as a feature as well. i really like the wallpaper from jointhefollowing.com, and the signs are cool too, im actually from NY, so i think im gonna print one of them out, probably the red and white one to save on ink and take part in the mission in NY
