Irrelevant?!?

I don't know whether this is irrelevant or not, but on the actual reloyola website, there is a advertisement, with a dog. And also , in one of the flickr pictures there is a dog on the side of a building??? Is this rellevant or not.... Here is the link

The animal on the billboard is a cow (more specifically, a Holstein). It's one of the Chick-Fil-A advertisements.

Hello everyone, I have just finished reading through the 12 page thread, and there is quite alot of information. I was just wondering whether we should actually try and properly 'hack' the site, but that may count as cheating. But I have spotted alot of things you all have aswell, and I hope we can uncover some even more things.

Welcome to the team, StapledPuppet. Glad to have you aboard. Smile

Hacking the site would be cheating a bit. We should probably avoid that. However, your knowledge of hacking could very well unlock the ciphers we've been struggling with. If you get a chance, take a look at those (see page 11 of the thread). Let us know if you notice any connections between the ciphers, or if the ciphers seem related to anything else. And I mean anything; we'll take any relation we can get at this point. Razz Thanks!

Edit: I was thinking, perhaps the ciphers are customer numbers? On the support page (http://www.redloyola.com/support.php) it says "Name or Customer Number." I'm probably grasping at straws, but if nothing else works, I'll look into setting up a fake email account and using our ciphers as customer numbers to make a lost password request.

Definitely a prosperous idea (:

Oh, so this is moving a bit. Sorry all, I've been somewhat away from everything for some days. I see the code has evolved to... another code. I think the letters in the code may be some separators or identificators... something like

Code:

94 H 4013 d 168 a 44 j 8

Maybe it should be read:
Code:

94H 4013d 168a 44j 8

or even:
Code:

94 H4013 d168 a44 j8

There must be something more, but I just can't see it.

Hmm...

I think I have figured out a few of the missing letters. I was going over the codes I decided, like most of you already have to check photoshop's colour picker.

Then I saw the letter a as one of the options, I think it stands for 'alpha', which is basically transparency, etc. There is also the letter b; but there is nothing to do with j.

StapledPuppet

[EDIT]

I have just researched what the letter j could mean in the codes, and stumbled across this:

Code:
In Unicode the capital J is codepoint U+004A and the lowercase j is U+006A. Unicode also has a dotless variant, ȷ (U+0237) for use with combining diacritics.

The ASCII code for capital J is 74 and for lowercase j is 106; or in binary 01001010 and 01101010, correspondingly.

The EBCDIC code for capital J is 209 and for lowercase j is 145.

The numeric character references in HTML and XML are "J" and "j" for upper and lower case respectively.

surf suggested earlier that the code might be first half name, second half password. So I have tried this:

2 H19871d101a397j140
2H 19871d101a397j140
2H1 9871d101a397j140
2H19 871d101a397j140
2H198 71d101a397j140
2H1987 1d101a397j140
2H19871 d101a397j140
2H19871d 101a397j140
2H19871d1 01a397j140
2H19871d10 1a397j140
2H19871d101 a397j140
2H19871d101a 397j140
2H19871d101a3 97j140
2H19871d101a39 7j140
2H19871d101a397 j140
2H19871d101a397j 140
2H19871d101a397j1 40
2H19871d101a397j14 0

which doesnt work Sad

We are using this code arent we? Not the correct one that we already had, this one came from Alex's computer.

Well, in the code I just converted the letters into ASCII numbers, and here is the result:

2 (H)72 19871 (d)100 101 97 397 (j)106 140

I do not know whether this will help.

StapledPuppet

[EDIT]

Maybe this (without the letters in brackets) is the customer number? I have sent a support request on a manual for the server system using the customer number. I have only got the automated reply for now though.

Did you try this with the other cipher, too?

By the way, I created a wiki to make everything we're working on a lil bit clear. There's nothing usefull for now tho, but feel free to build it up.

Nice one chinga, can you make us admins, or is that not possible? Or if it is you don't have to.

No, just split that one...and I should have been more specific, name/passwords were tried as login on redloyola site.

I'm the admin, but for sure I can make you admins too (I'm not that familiar with the site) if you pm me your e-mail adresses.

Edit: You welcome Omega (:

Edit2: It's already open to public. Everyone can add and/or edit pages (:
