I have done some updating to the site, with some old information, on page 3, on everything we had done up to that point.

Page 4 in the thread has some notable info from Stephanie's blog. Don't forget that. Smile

Edit: Also, we should make an "Important Emails" section:

codemonkey327SPLATgmail.com - Code Monkey (AKA "Capablanca")
loyola.stephanieSPLATgmail.com - Stephanie Loyola's personal email
robert.morgan1971SPLATgmail.com - Robert Morgan's personal email
sofia.riveraSPLATriveracapital.com - Sofia Rivera's work email
alexSPLATredloyola.com - Alex Loyola's work email
robertSPLATredloyola.com - Robert Morgan's work email
supportSPLATredloyola.com - Support staff at redloyola.com
jobsSPLATredloyola.com - Human resources at redloyola.com
contactSPLATloyolascholarship.org - Loyola Scholarship foundation contact

Edit 2: Am I missing any email addresses?

I added an email page from Stephanie Loyola.
I cannot, however, attach the bar.png image.

Current progress needs to show the code figured out so far, with RGB values, and the bar.png.

And...whoever has the capablanca emails, should make a page of those.

So much for not having time... Updated the wiki to include the Capablanca emails, added an Important Emails page, an Important Events page, and updated the current progress. I have some other work to do, so that's all from me today, I swear! ... Well, maybe just one more change... Razz

I have gone over the Capablanca (Codemonkey) e-mails, and I have spotted something. He mention's in number 4 how close we are getting, and then, he mentions something' very small '. Could this suggest the bar image?? But to be honest, I think the bar images are to do with the making of the site, because I found various other small images like it, but the just for the support e-mail, just red.

I thought nothing of it.

StapledPuppet

[EDIT]

It also seems as though on the last two e-mails he hadn't signed his name.

[EDIT]

Also what is Capablanca or codemonkey's facebook??

Search for Joseph Capablanca.

Edit: I just realized http://www.projectloyola.com is directed to http://www.redloyola.com

Edit2: It doesn't make sense, but he keeps poking me through Facebook :p

Is it Spring break or what? (Savannah Spring break was 10th-14th I think)

I was discounting any "old" pictures on Alex's website (alexloyola.com)
but after looking at the World of Warcraft screenshot of his computer...
on page two of same blog, http://alexloyola.com/2.html

The blog post date is Sept of last year, but top right corner of picture, clearly states Weds, Feb 13th 9:00am. This screen shot also has the redloyola site in background....with testUser as name. (which I had no idea where that came from before.) The GIMP is the image program he is using to create these pictures....it's a free download (and pretty cool too).

Other things on same page:
Folder named SFDM-PROJECT
and a web site www.dream??????
Google search: c++ ???
me hace falta (translates to needs to me....or needs me to)

Not sure if the rest is just a decoy, and a coverup for the rest of the redloyola page.....I think I will check out some of the older photos and try different noise filters on the georgia pics with GIMP.

Must be. We haven't gotten any emails or updates in over a week now. If they're waiting for us to figure things out, we may be here a while. Confused

SFDM refers to the School of Film and Digital Media at Savannah College, and www.dreamhost.com is the web hosting service provider for alexloyola.com. That much we can cross out. However, someone brought up the "c++ h" earlier, and I think that is an intentional hint. At the Savannah College of Art and Design, you wouldn't think there'd be too many folks doing C++ programming....

But what is that "h" for? I quick google search for just c++ h shows some pages about stdio.h and headers. I will take a deeper look, maybe the code is a header or something.

about the "me hace falta", the complete sentence is "World of Warcraft me hace falta". It means: I need World of Warcraft. I guess it's just a joke of desperation for the game Razz It would be too obviuos to be some kind of clue, the user and the search field are much more subtle.

I have basic c++ knowledge and the h is usually *****.h, and it could aslo mean hash (#) but that is usually C#, another scripting language...

I've been programming C++ for over twenty years, and I can't tell you what to look for either.

Nothing we've seen so far hints at C++ anyway; there are no applications to speak of, and the websites are done easy enough in Perl/PHP. Which does make the reference seem out of place, especially considering it's not common to be looking for C++ help without even running a compiler, development environment or anything; for example, I have my Visual Studio shortcut launch the MSDN website automatically.
