From the monkey picture:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
People weep and people cry,
because the pawn, he had to die.
The end will come to this, our plight
when information comes to light.
They watch, they study, they see our moves.
We must be careful, our we shall lose.
We stick together or we shall fail,
the time is near so do not bail.

Do not forget.

Another clueless thing from Code Monkey. I presume, he won't answer the e-mails with useful info.

Larry, I'll meet you at Walmart on Sawmill Rd to pic out our next outfit Smile

Just open it with notepad. It's embed in the code. I'll try that with the other pics.

*EDIT*: Nothing unusual as far as I see.

On facebook, a special invitation. All SIX of us have been invited to light another candle in memory of Alex, the guy with no picture. I declined the invite. Sorry, but I just cant see this going anywhere.

For the PMS, if things dont blow up, ppl die, emails, puzzles to solve, things to find, or ANYTHING happens in the next 24 hours, then I will consider this over. This once a week bs is putting me to sleep. There is a section just for puppetmasters here on uF............check it out.

Doubled...

But just because of my curiosity, I'm gonna lite a candle and take a picture of it to add it to the event page.

Edit: Just added a pic. By the way, does "City/Town: Savannah, GA" make any sense?

No can do. Nothing at WalMart fits me anymore.

We should do Polaris. That way we can hit Casual Male for me, then go eat at Marcella's... or, on my budget, Sonic. :-p

Anyway, Chinga gave you the rundown about the text. Simply notepad, or in my case (since I'm on a MacBook), TextEdit. It's the same thing he did with the prior monkey picture.

Don't go trying to get the monkey all liquored up and taking off that red shirt!

A candle....yep, thats ARG material right there. Light a candle and the magic portal will open and it will suck all the bad guys into it and Alex will walk out ALIVE! Gee I can't wait </sarcasm>

I know, I'm still here.....it's like watching a bad movie, thinking...SOMETHING has to happen soon.......and then it doesn't. I ran out of optimism two pages back.....but maybe.....

I've opened all of them in notepad, but it doesnt give me anything but garbage. I thought u ran it thru a decoder....so maybe I need to change my font type in notepad? Donno. Count me in for Polaris! Shame about Walmart tho, cuz that's where I buy all of my monkey's clothing. ;P

Code Monkey sent me a link:

http://www.loyolascholarship.org/friends/

Button reads "the opponent." I'm guessing the answer relates back to Capablanca. I'll look up a list of people he played...

Edit: If you do any guesses, remember to check the source code afterwards; our last puzzle was hidden that way, might pop up that way again.

I think it refers back to Capablanca's first e-mail, which read:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The pawn is dead
The queen is scheming
The opponent is winning
The predator lays dormant

-Capablanca

I can't help but feel like we're missing something *really* important.

I noticed the HTML name of the input field is "code", so I tried our codes from the RGB puzzle. I also tried Code Monkey (and combinations thereof), but got nothing.

Maybe our clue is related to the Four Riders picture we got a while back?

Another thing I noticed today: on Joseph Capablanca's Facebook profile, it says he was born January 1st, 1930. There may be some significance to that date for Capablanca which helps to solve our current roadblock. It could also be the default birth date that Facebook assigns. Smile
