Old habits do indeed die hard i check these forums too like every 2 days but the last time i posted was like on feb. 5. And they can easily revive this arg when they make a preview for cloverfield 2 just give us no information and people will go looking for some that simple.

also still here. waiting for interesting things to happen. Last week, I spent valuable time in my Commonwealth of the Arts class (actually pretty good course) drawing MGP all over the inside of my notebook. So...still obsessed. Waiting for manga to help me cope with the story gaps/lack of explanation/ c**k-tease of an ARG that this has been....

I find comfort in my belief, which I've held true since back in September, that this movie is just the beginning. With what it's made for money, Cloverfield was just the launching pad, an introduction.

Now, MGP has to stop looking so silly, Tagruato has to start being ultra evil, and we need a bad-ass Mecha-GP or something to duke it out with MGP.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the ARG continue and I hope that it does so that we can get some answers to loose ends. Disregarding the questions posed by the movie, there are still a lot of loose ends that were presented by the ARG. Like what happened to teddy? who is janice? and what is the picture she's supposed to show TIDO?

But logically I can't see how they would justify running an ARG that was mostly just viral advertising in the first place. I imagine that they will reboot the viral stuff once the sequel pre-production is up and running, but unless they've been working on the move a lot already then that won't be for quite some time. The point I was trying to make in the first place was that I think we're going to end up with 2 different ARGs. One that was designed to promote the first film, and one that was designed to promote the second film. Right now, I think we're done with the first one. I can see them continuing the ARG after the second movie if they have reason to believe that the franchise has more unrealized market potential.

I think we are all still here lurkin and seeing if anything is new. I think the ARE will continue. And I think the DVD will have new clues! Opinons?
