So it sounds like the government is still functioning, and if Neopets (From the reply to Leyton above) is still on the web then most of the world is working in spite of building sized parasites.

Like I said, I'd be willing to bet you my thirty-gallon fish tank that this is related to the Gate Reaction. Parasites, mutations...it all fits.

 		Alice, I think I have seen that name on here before (other than me having to clarify you were OOG) but possibly in the gate reaction... Maybe this is the story of Dr. Botton and it's another reality of the parasites or something.... Any one else been reading things about mutation and "Alice"?


EDIT I am a player of The gate reaction and I have noticed that there has been a break as far as info released and character interaction so maybe the PM has been turning to this to "groom" so to speak. I mean on the last task that was given it basically tells us to take our time turning in the "task at hand"... like the PM is in no hurry to get that game moving along... something to think about...
