New log is fun.
Jack Johnson, Do you remember is the song in case anyone didn't recognize it.
Lyrics in the video wrote:

Do you remember when we first met? I sure do
It was some time in early September
Though you were lazy about it, you made me wait around
I was so crazy about you, I didn't mind

So I was late for class, I locked my bike to yours

Lyrics to the rest of the song wrote:

It wasn't hard to find, you'd painted flowers on
Guess that I was afraid that if you rolled away
You might not roll back my direction really soon

Well, I was crazy about you then and now
The craziest thing of all, over ten years have gone by
And you're still mine, we're locked in time
Let's rewind

Do you remember when we first moved in together?
The piano took up the living room
You played me boogie-woogie I played you love songs
You'd say we're playing house now you still say we are

We built our getaway up in a tree we found
We felt so far away though we were still in town
Now I remember watching that old tree burn down
I took a picture that I don't like to look at

Well all these times they come and go
And alone don't seem so long
Over ten years have gone by
We can't rewind, we're locked in time
But you're still mine
Do you remember?"

Notice that there are three extra letters at the end of the image title "oj3" it's not in a series, no other oj#, so the oj3 must have some sort of significance, I just can't figure it out.

I've been messing with letter frequencies of the code and I have to stop now but I'm going to put up what I'm pretty sure is right replacements so far.
Replacements so far wrote:

Original code separated out by changes in case.

Fhjl shfjkla hfjlnaufgn l; h jfnshjklhfljansj nui nljknsafn lnfjsa

J replaced by e
L replaced by t (it might be that f should be replaced by t but that didn't get me anywhere)

fhet shfekta hfetnaufgn t; h efnshekthfteanse nui nteknsafn tnfesa

F as R
rhet shrekta hretnaurgn t; h ernshekthrteanse nui nteknsarn tnresa

This is the next choice of possible replacements after changing f to r, which I'm pretty sure is right.
H as O
roet sorekta oretnaurgn t; o ernsoektorteanse nui nteknsarn tnresa

H as A
raet sarekta aretnaurgn t; a ernsaektarteanse nui nteknsarn tnresa

H as I
riet sirekta iretnaurgn t; i ernsiektirteanse nui nteknsarn tnresa

The oj3 is just a random thing that Imageshack adds to your uploads.

Alright, the picture reminded me of an enemy character from Metal Gear Solid 3 named "The Sorrow".

He's a spirit in the game because he died in the past. Perhaps Eli and The Sorrow have some connection.

I also looked into the Soundtrack of the MGS3 game. Song 3 of disc two is entitled "The Sorrow~Never Ending Fight". I listened to the song but to no avail. Maybe some of this is relevant.

"Guests" are coming out of the woodwork, aren't they? Wink

I've never played MGS3, but it would make sense I guess. Anyone?

To clarify: The man on the right with the glasses was the one I suspected of being The Sorrow.

I just recieved a phone call from Eli Pruitt.

He knows that edit: on the 15th, he must die. And he needs to get back to his time before then.

I'm currently about to try, to the best of my ability, to reproduce the conversation.

Quote:

I answered the phone to hear a shaky, whispering voice. I knew straight away who it was, and it was confirmed when I heard "It's Eli."
He wasn't able to speak loudly, he was in a place where he had to be quiet. It's still so hard to recall, as it went by so quickly. Eli knows where he is, so he can't be so lost anymore. But he's also very scared, he told me, as his voice shook. His time is running out, as the Ides approaches.
He does not know how he is time traveling. Only that he suddenly found himself as Julius Caesar, back in Rome. He expressed how difficult it was to be Caesar, faced with decisions that he didn't know how to make, especially with something as fragile as history, I can imagine the stress. He expressed that it is not only the time of Julius Caesar, but also our time. That's why he needs to go back, before the 15th. Because he knows he will have to die once the Ides dawns upon us.
He then asked me several questions, to fill his need for information about this time. I told him where I lived, Canada, Ontario. I told him it was a large Province, much like a State in the US. After each piece of information, he repeated it to himself, obviously to remember. I mentioned that we have March Break here, and that all the kiddies are off from school. And then he was about to leave.
But just as he was talking, my phone ran out of minutes. I was extremely disappointed, and I wish I could've spoken to him longer. I left him a message on his voice mail, gave him my email address, and gave him my sincerest apologies.
If there are any questions about our conversation, I'll try my best to remember further.

I started playing with the numbers of the capital letters versus the numbers of the lowercase letters, I think maybe I'm getting closer?

begin the night owl edits: You know, maybe he is destined to die as Caesar, and will then wake up in his normal life.

Left Eli a voicemail. This also sounds a lot like Assasins Creed.

Now that I've revised the video, I don't think that MGS has much relevance... Maybe I'm wrong? But in Scindo's email, it didn't seem like it was a huge clue.

Anyone crack the code yet?

The relation to MSG 3, now if we all remember scindo references metal gear solid 3, specifically referencing in the game about how he likes "Sorrow". Now there is a character in the game known as "The Sorrow" who is a ghost of a former colligue of the final boss of the game. In a sequence where you die, you travel down a river while all the spirits of the soldiers you kill walk towards you, and The Sorrow is floating in front of you as you walk towards him. At the end of the river you find his body and when you hit it you die and it appears as the game is over. But, if you remember in the beginning of the game you are outfitted with a pill that can wake you up. After that, from then on out, there are sequences in which The Sorrow can been seen holding up a timer that is counting down, the timer indicating how much time is left before the explosives you plant go off. So yeah, there's that.

Also, remember that Metal Gear Solid 3 takes place in the past, so if you do anything against the time line of the game...like kill a character that shows up in the future of the time line...it creates a Time Paradox and the game ends.

But is any of that relevant?

Think maybe Eli will wake up, after dying as Julius Caesar? If that is the case, then why are we trying to save him? That makes all of this rather pointless.

I spoke to a few people about the code.

One theory was that

Fhjl shfjkla hfjlnaufgn l; h jfnshjklhfljansj nui nljknsafn lnfjsa

is comprised mostly of the center line on a keyboard, minus the u and n.

That might be relevant.

New Video.
I noticed that the 2nd definition of Camouflage is bold and V. appears..Meaning it's a verb and most likely significant.

Also:

Focus. Here's a huge hint to utilizing Castro and Castro.

But that doesn't matter at the moment. Help him.

So Fidel Castro and The Sorrow..But what does that mean for us ?
