Print Newsletter in the Works...
Any and All Feedback Welcome

Hey, everyone! Hopefully I've bumped into you in the last few months I've been a member of this UnForums community, and I hope it was a pleasant experience. In an effort to better the community and bring gamers closer together, I have been in the process of creating a print newsletter to be mailed out to whomever might be interested.

The newsletter staff consists of me, and..... well, me. But I'm hoping that it will turn into a collaborative project throughout the ARG player base. Obviously, I am not involved in every ARG out there, and I need your help in building content. That being said, if you are reading this and would like to include something on an ARG you are currently involved in, send me a line or two about it and I will try to include it in the mailing. Everyone is encouraged and needed to contribute and I will do my best to add everything appropriate.

I have been in contact with a few members of UF in hopes of dedicating a section of the newsletter to the players themselves (interviews, profiles, etc. etc.) and hope I can get in at least 2 players a month. Or maybe even start a player of the month contest. (Wow, I had that idea all by myself!)

I hope this newsletter really goes over well with the community, and will TRY to get one publication out monthly. Those of you who know me, know that I'm gone quite a bit and this will be quite a task for me, but I believe it is worthwhile. (If you can offer any help, great!)

All in all, I hope it goes over well. If you are interested in receiving the publication once it is complete, visit my website at www.nataslive.com and click on the "Application" tab. Right now, I have a printer who has quoted me a price on 100 4-page newsletters, but hope to have the need to order more. I will be able to provide the first couple of newsletters free of charge. But due to the fact that I still work for the man, I more than likely will have to charge an absolute minimal amount for future mailings.

Also, any ideas are welcome and appreciated as this is my first attempt at a project such as this. If you have any input please contact me at adminSPLATnataslive.com or pm me here.

I think it's a good idea, but I would much prefer if it was an e-mail newsletter. I just don't want to feel like I am contributing to paper-waste when it could be done just as well electronically.

Absolutely, yes, I'd love a newsletter, but no question that it should be in E-mail format.

Plus, you may find it cheaper if the letter is delivered by email, but either way I am for it.

I'd definitely go with email, but it sounds like a cool idea.

Been wondering why no one's done this yet. ARGnet is great, but I think a real newsletter would be a way better idea if just for the aesthetics of it.
