Was there ever any possibility of us decoding the two auth files on our own or were they just random 1' and 0s?

Did anyone ask about Kral and Sergay Poponov?

Yes, I forget who asked but the answer was basically "I dont want to talk about that because if I do a sequel they will be important"

I'm not sure exactly what I said, but basically these two characters weren't or won't be part of any Project Ophiuchus Wink I think when I mentioned that they could be part of a different game people said probably not - therefore assuming it was a gamejack of some sort.

Unfortunately, that pesky thing called Real Life intervened and caused me to miss the ending and the two Chats Sad Sorry folks!

Although too late to be helpful, here is a little feedback from me.

I did find it strange that Project Ophiuchus virtually came to an abrupt halt, once the LMF site was found, but the reasons for this have been explained. It is a shame that the continuity of the story got a bit confusing and was somewhat lost from that point, and also that the time restraints of the dissertation deadline meant that it was a bit rushed towards the end. Like Rogi, I got a bit lost at the lack of usefulness of the USB sticks we retrieved, and the fact that the pictures and binary files didn't seem to go anywhere.

The main thing that I found tiresome (and tiring) was the updates always being at midnight/1 am (UK time), leaving not much to do in the daytime, when I am around more.

However, overall, I enjoyed this game. A lot of work had obviously gone into preparing the various sites which were well-executed. I was mainly here to solve the puzzles, most of which were great, and am not so interested in the interactive side.

Well done, Mac! Wink What a fun thing to do for a dissertation! Good luck with it, and I hope it gets you good results.

Hey guys. Just a quick note for those who are interested. I received my degree results the other day (to which Project Ophiuchus was my dissertation) and huzzah - I passed with a First Class Honours. 81% Average Smile

Guess I'd better start looking for a job now...

Mac
