And a note for people who haven't played one of these before - often such games develop a regular 'update' schedule. Tuesdays and Fridays are popular - release a new thread of the story, or a new puzzle or 12, and then step back for a few days while players chew on it. This game is new enough not to be able to tell if this sort of mechanism will be in use, although Jasper's report that the librarian said they were supposed to put out the special book on Tuesday smacks of a scheduled update. Which maybe we got ahead of. Or something.

On the other hand, with six athletes and Larissa, there's so much potential for interaction I wonder if content update will be that limited. Hopefully there will be plenty of social interaction with each of the characters while we wait for game updates.

I started with this yesterday, I'm from Argentina, so my english is not the best Razz

But, look at this (don't know if anyone's already...)

mrjudkins came up with this.

Lets not forget that because of the spherical shape, the image is not accurate.

An update on the European red dot - I've adjusted the map (seen above), which lands the spot closer to Poznan - but many people have been entering in every placename in the area to no avail...

This is probably one we'll need help from the Characters, or other clues to find...

Dracmir - that's OK - Stephenville was green before we linked it with Austin. Lunglei is green cuz we found it, I think. Perhaps green means it is available to be linked with another city.

The "Night map" button shows the city names.

Hopefully it can help pinpoint some locations.

You can also look at the Earth at Night in Google Earth if doing this in 3D is helpful:

RED DOT

Hello all. First ARG for me.

Viewing the 164.109.150.213 site last night I did not see any RED or GREEN dots. Thought I was missing something.

Looked again this morning and noticied a (or 3 tiny) RED dots in the North West United States.

Looks like WASHINGTON state. The capital of WASHINGTON state is of course...OLYMPIA.

I have NOT confirmed this location but just wanted to post to lead others to the same area.

(First post for me so I hope I am in the ballpark Very Happy )

I tried to get some help out of him, but he doesn't respond to emails. I suppose that we didn't unlock the secret, if we do that he'll talk more.

Welcome aboard D72W! The dots seem to have a life of their own (from what we've gathered) in terms of when they are appearing and when they are disappearing.

The toughest part is trying to coordinate where they are exactly pointing too! We've found several places so far and have actually retrieved artifacts from them.

Right now, others are continuing to try and determine the location of the new red dots. The wiki has a good list of what we've found so far to date, as well at least one coordination of trying to find a specific location in Denmark!

There have been several reports of something in NW USA, so that certainly warrants investigation as well.

You'll know you've hit it when it says it's been identified and it's not yet on our list.. Then come back here, post it, and get LOTS of acclaim and fame. *smile*
