"Fuck high def"? What are you 80 years old? High Def is the future of the physical viewing format. Get used to it... Especially Bluray.

I'm gonna be honest, if I wanna watch a movie, I could give two shits over it being 'high def' or not... Hell, gimme VHS for all I care. People make a big deal out of it and really, it's not that big of a deal... I don't feel like I'm 'in the movie' or anything, it's just a clearer picture is all... The day we make virtual reality movies [where I get to feel like I'm surrounded by the movie] is the day I'll be impressed... till then, I'm pissed because I gotta keep updating my DVD collection because a regular DVD is becoming obsolete... fuck.

Well hell standard DVD's double dip already so as for re-buying your collection, no formats are safe... Bluray looks fantastic, I don't know what to say to you peeps who refuse to see the reason why this format is important...

But, I digress, slightly... Cloverfield on Bluray would look AMAZING! Especially since it was shot in HD.

1080p MPG FOR THE WIN!!

Well duh, unless you're living under a rock, Bluray did win... But, to correct you kind sir, Toshiba was the main perp in the HD DVD field, they lost the hidef war, and bad... Sony's is Bluray.

I wonder if there's gonna be "extra-clues" in the DVD/HD-DVD/Blu-Ray japanese release of this movie in the form of easter eggs.

What about more of that manga story?
