Oh yeah, the video for that band.

If this turns out to be a viral marketing ARG for a band, I'm gonna be seriously ticked....>.>

I was thinking along those lines last night... but you know, I'll respect the game if its good, and judge the music on its own merits... havn't listened to it yet though.

From MySpace:
Quote:
Someone would like to share their truth regarding the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. However, you can no longer help that person. Some people, maybe people you know, have sealed that person's fate for eternity. That person was known by the FBI, the CIA and the Cosa Nostra. Did someone want to prevent that person from talking? Have the records of that person's testimony been destroyed? No matter your abilities or allegiances, you MUST find out what that person wanted to tell you. The goal here is not to establish whether that person was wrong or right. The Warren Commission has already ruled on that. The goal is to give back their voice to this witness. The operation will be known as The Rivard Project (pronounced Reev-ard). Your efforts will be rewarded.

EDIT: Paul is 91 years old. wow! ARG Granddaddy

What I'm wondering is why the French are involved in who killed JFK?

In the photo section of the myspace page, there are chalk drawings of dominos with dots representing numbers. Has the arg begun yet? I signed up but never received an e-mail back yet.

Sorry to post 2ce - but here is your connection to the French (doing a search google using the keyword on the myspace page, pau޲l mon޲dol޲ini)޲:

"DATE/TIME: Feb 1 2005, 06:34 AM
TITLE: The Assassins, Lucien Sarti et al (Chiappe & Angeletti)
POSTER:Salvador Astucia
THREAD WAS STARTED BY:Salvador Astucia
REPLIED TO: N/a

In my book, "Opium Lords," the following assassins are identified:

- Lucien Sarti (fired the head shot which killed JFK)
- François Chiappe
- Jean-Paul Angeletti

These men later became the top lieutenants for French-Corsican heroin trafficker and convicted Nazi collaborator, Auguste Joseph Ricord. He was living in Argentina at the time of the assassination. Later he moved to Paraguay which became a major hub for smuggling heroin into the United States.

To read details about the assassins, click here.

I guess it is connected to some guy's book (from Montreal).

Edited: OK, now that we have the case solved from the corsicans page above, now what?

We're not even sure if the MySpace page is IG.

MySpace re-renders all the images that are uploaded; it's impossible to steg an image and upload it and keep its integrity because they re-save it, losing anything that might have been hidden. If you want to keep something intact, use Flickr.

Trust me on that: I tried. Smile

That's right I forgot about that from the write-up... haha, I guess I'm still used to everything moving so fast that I'm starving for a puzzle...

I found a website about Lucien Rivard:
http://www.geocities.com/wiseguywally/LucienRivard.html

Info about Sarti, one of the guys who shot JFKL:
http://members.optushome.com.au/tnorth/introduction.htm

/speculation:
Is this turning into a Mafia ARG? o_O

EDIT: In any case it's now a confirmed ARG-- his "who I'd like to meet" box has "JFK fans, ARG fans." written in it. If that's not a trailhead, I don't know what is.

So from the blog comes fav movie le piège américain due out in Canada in May 2008, with some of the above shady charaters in it. Think this is about a movie release? More exciting than the band angle.
