The car number, 51, does not correspond to any of the districts on the map. I guess we are going to have to wait until The Last Palm Tree puts up more pictures.

minor update -- after listening to the message no less than 30 times, and playing around at http://morsecode.scphillips.com/translator.html , the closest I can get is HMSSTIMM or HMSSTIMI. HMS is an abreviation for Her Majesty's Ship, used by the Royal British Navy... but as for the rest, who knows. Feel free to play around with it, but I think it might be a dead end.

And is it just my computer, or is it that every time I play the video, it sticks a bit and he repeats the words "check this out" and "listening to it" after the clicks. Is this just his speach pattern, or what? I know this might be streching things a bit, but it was just something that stuck out for me.

About the second video (the one slowed down), the purpose of it must be for us to find something, right, I mean what would be the point of puting a few more seconds of what we already seen? But I can't identify anything of use.

I'll have to view it again, but it did look like the person was wearing black with some sort of white marking...

At first I thought it was just a shiloute (or even a shadow), but now that you mention it, it definitely looks like the person is wearing all black. It could be a police officer... that would tie in rather nicely with the "missing cop" thread going on over at Last Palm Tree...

There is a new image at the Last Palm Tree, although I can't seem to find any similarities between the buildings in it and those in the video.

I'm trying to read the name of the building on the left in the pic... looks like T----- Bowl, not sure of the complete name, any ideas?

Its someone's or some thing's beginning with a "T"s bowl as the last two blurs appear to be an apostrophe and an "s"

Nice that pretty much all of LA is photographed at street level, though...
