 		Maybe we can take a mixed approach then: we could send the test to each agon, BUT we can give a different format for each one, and see who has less problems doing it. I mean... I have already sent Diego the one with the 3choices divided as they originally came, but we can send another one the test with just all the sentences and a y/n for everyone, and send another one with the choices in different groups. After we get the first feedback, we could even give them the test again, but with a different organization, to see which questions do they choose over wich ones. So, maybe one of the Agon chooses "I am always inquisitive" and "I am an original thinker" if they can choose both, but will only choose "I am alway inquisitive" if they can only take one of them.

Anyway, I guess players will theorize and try to perfect things to unsuspected heights Razz Even if the PM's put a sign of "Do this", I guess players just love finding the secret meanings in that sign XD

 		Yes, I was actually thinking of keeping the groups of three...I'm not explaining it well, but we could list 3 questions, and each would be associated with one or more agons:
A. I am an original thinker. (MYTHOPOEIA, SOFIA)
B. I believe that everyone's opinion is important. (SOPHROSUNE, CHARITON, DIKAIOSUNE)
C. I approach a life with adventure. (THUMOS)

Diego and Mei Hui would answer A. Ariadne, Lucie and Noriko would answer B, and Markus should answer C. From that, we could make sure they're all picking attributes that we think fit with them. Each set of questions would have a correct answer for each agon.

It would make a better puzzle, because we'd have to be careful how we arranged the groupings of three questions...

 		Based on shad0's key, I got...

B - Sophrosune
B - Chariton
C - Sofia
C - Sofia
A - Dikaiosune
B - Mythopoeia
A - Sofia
C - Sophrosune
B - Dikaiosune
C - Sofia
B - Mythopoeia

Which makes me Sofia, wisdom, on four points (Soph. = 2, Cha. =1, Di. = 2, Myth. = 2. Th. = 0).

Well, you can add (find?) a question, or change the scoring.

Shad0's version has 6 points for CHARITON, SOFIA, SOPHROSUNE, and 5 for DIKAIOSUNE, MYTHOPOEIA, THUMOS. Make some other questions that could apply to those 3 also give them a point, and it might even up.

Here's one way to do that:

Question No. 1
I like being in control. (DIKAIOSUNE)
I believe that everyone's opinion is important. (SOPHROSUNE)
I relate well with people. (CHARITON)

Question No. 2
I approach a life with adventure. (THUMOS)
I love to make other people happy. (CHARITON)
I am an original thinker. (MYTHOPOEIA)

Question No. 3
I hate to see somebody suffer, even my worst enemy. (CHARITON)
I believe that I have a strong goal in a life. (DIKAIOSUNE)
I am always inquisitive. (SOFIA)

Question No. 4
I am extremely loyal. (CHARITON)
I like defeating obstacles. (THUMOS)
I like to clarify matters to others. (SOFIA, DIKAIOSUNE)

Question No. 5
I can create order out of chaos. (DIKAIOSUNE)
I am optimistic about the future. (MYTHOPOEIA)
I am a very careful person. (SOPHROSUNE)

Question No. 6
I can empathize with others. (CHARITON)
I have a huge imagination. (MYTHOPOEIA)

Markus should answer this way, but actually I have the feeling he is the one that has the most fear. He is hiding and even changing hair color, so the "the bad guys" do not recognize him. It could be that the six do not remember their attributes.

Firstly, the fact that the test has been translated into Spanish is totally awesome. Please also send it to Ariadne so that she can include a Spanish version of the test when Kai implements it.

I've also posted to the TLR Esperanto group on google groups asking for translations from Esperanto into other languages.

Anyway, I've made a spreadsheet imputing all of the suggestions up to this point about which lines are connected with which attributes. For most of them we're pretty much unanimous however there are a few that need more input.

Here are the lines that need clarification: (at least according to my spreadsheet as it currently stands)
- I am always inquisitive.
- I am extremely loyal.
- I can create order out of chaos.
- I help others cooperate well.
- I believe that everything has a reason.
- I am never bored.

So for those of you who are just coming in and giving your opinions, please pat special attention to be clear on what attribute you think those belong to.

if you look at Stockholms artifact about halfway down under the mission.

You must establish new Agonothetai. [Note that "Agonothetai" is plural here, but I don't know what the plural is in English – "Agonothetais", or something else?] Their members must be trusted individuals, on all continents, capable of building labyrinths and practising the lost sport.


what if it's an application of sorts to be new agonothetai? It would make sense to have an agonothetai for each trait: each to apply their own specialty so to speak. Just a thought.

I like this approach because while some statements seem strongly linked with just one attribute, other statements seem to apply to 2 or 3 attributes.

Based on the suggestions so far, I think that we will have a lot of difficulty distinguishing Sophrosune from Chariton. It seems that there is a subtle difference between helping everyone get along (unity/friendship/connector) (Chariton) and settling disputes (impartial judge/advisor) (Sophrosune).

The codex does say that the journey begins once the six understand their strengths. Plus bravery can be described as having fear, but being strong enough to face a challenge anyway. It would be brave of Markus at this point to come out of hiding. ie. he has the opportunity to demonstrate this strength.

I'd put that under sofia. If you're inquisitive you want to know why right? knowledge (close enough to wisdom for me) imo.

I am extremely loyal.
I'd put this one under chariton. but only because heart and humanity usually implies pushover to me Sad I think this ones hard to decide.

I'm torn between DIKAIOSUNE and SOPHROSUNE. Dikaiosune because leadership and direction seems like things needed for "settling things down" so to speak. Sophrosune for balance. I'm going to lean towards Dikaiosune though. This ones also hard to decide.

I help others cooperate well.

I think the grouping is there for a reason, but choosing one out of a group if two apply or none apply might be confounding.

Having the test taker rate the sentences instead of picking outright or ranking might make it easier for the test taker.
5= agree strongly, 4= agree, 3=neutral, 2= disagree, 1= disagree strongly

And I think rating them does the same thing as picking or eliminating, but is mentally easier.

Okay, so possibly, the pictures on the page are the final question.

As in, select the image you most identify with.

We have a rundown of what picture is what attribute in another thread which I'll track down in a mo.

But, what do you think about that theory?

 		So we need a question... Dante suggested on irc that it could be based on the pictures. So, taking the layout of the pictures on the page, the question could be:

Question number 12:
I am like a fern, or the sun.
I am like a wing, or an owl.
I am like a lion, or a hummingbird.

This gets it out to an even 36 choices, so each can have 6, which is why I'm proposing it instead of just chosing one picture..
