I'm not sure what I installed when (I think it's from RealPlayer Gold, Quicktime Pro, or something... but not sure), but I have the right-click option to "Download Video" or save Flash files to disk directly through the browser.

Easiest thing to do for the videos is look for a .flv file in your temporary internet files. Otherwise you can use something like Sothink SWF Catcher or Video Downloader:
http://www.sothink.com/product/swfcatcher/firefox/index.php
http://www.sothinkmedia.com/web-video-downloader-firefox/index.htm

ETA - I need to get Quicktime setup to play FLVs, especially if it will let you grab the video too. The free FLV viewers on the web aren't the greatest, especially if you want to seek through the video rather than jump to keyframes.

If you remove the gen_cook.html and just type the following:
http://luna.pos.to/whale

It takes you to a web page with..... the same boat that those guys peppered with stink bombs "Nisshin Maru" Coincidence... I think not.

luna.pos.to seems to be OOG, according Wayback machine this site exists since 1998 (like it said on the site itself)

My first guess was Tana, which is a Maori (New Zealand) name. Basically a form of Turner.

"they could have been special ops or something and what the hell would they have been doing aboard a whaling ship" seems most relevant to us.

Bunch of vids here (flashbang vid)

Email from Ellie with a new Blog to check out!

Ellie,

A Friend pointed me to your website and I thought I should share my photo with you.

It was taken off the coast of Alaska during a cruise. As you can see the camera used was of high enough quality that the individual drops of water are visible however the object in the upper left hand corner is only a streak as it moved across the frame. Initial calculations indicate that it must have been moving in excess of 8600 mph far faster than any man made craft is capable of.

I also like this photo because of the whale. Do you know of any connections between whales and UFOs or secret experiments I am curious about that topic as well.

Fish

Maybe the M/V Steve Irwin is on a mission to find this rare white humpback whale, named migaloo?

EDIT:
Quote:
Because Migaloo is such a unique whale he has special legislation that is enacted each year to protect him from harassment. For this reason vessels are prohibited from approaching Miagloo closer than 500m.

Got the same. I wonder, whether it's from "Илья Муромец" aka "The Sword and the Dragon"...

Got this one as well. After randomly jumping through the Google video for the film (twice) I don't think any of these are from the movie. Also a little strange is that all of the images are different sizes - 815x615, 1127x630, and 1080x607.

Spy vs. Spy Theory

Just going back over everything not related to Ellie's "Save the whale, chupacabra, Roswell stuff" and came up with a interesting plot.

Scott has been named as Agent 42 for the FCD and is supposed to be given a report on Project: SIBERIA within 48 hours. Kosmopol is Hans aka Vlad, an agent for KSW, (Black Dragon Society) whom is given a book-encoded message. This might be interesting from a non-whale/alien viewpoint.

Even if you add in the alien/whale thing as a third party that is completely missing the "Cold War" going on, (believing that the sunken subs were albino whales and the shot-down-migs to be "Alien lights") it still is pretty cool if you can keep up.

We may not be seeing the entire image. But, then again, those image resolutions are too big for common video; those image sources are elsewhere.

That sounds pretty spot on to me Natas. I would add that based on the Blog by Connor(?) Michaels that the Alien/Conspriracy Theorist angle will be that of the investigators trying to uncover what is going on between the 2 sides. Ufo enthuisists have long played that type of role, especially when they think at first something from "out There" may be involved. Everyone thought that Area 51 was imaginary until the first photos of the base turned up on the internet and President Clinton admitted it was there.
