Summary: I asked Eli Hunt about Χαρις/Kharis
Χαρις is shorthand for someone with the ancient strength of Chariton.
Eli has more documents about the 6 strengths.

What I must confess is that I believe there are some further notes in my found copy of The Wisdom of the Ancients that speak to Χαρις and the other strengths. Perhaps these notes would be of interest to you. If so, let me know.

Heyyy... do you think Χαρις/Kharis might also refer to this...?


In Greek mythology, a Charis is one of several Charites (Χάριτες; Greek: "Graces"), goddesses of charm, beauty, nature, human creativity and fertility. They ordinarily numbered three, from youngest to oldest: Aglaea ("Beauty"), Euphrosyne ("Mirth"), and Thalia ("Good Cheer"). In Roman mythology they were known as the Gratiae, the "Three Graces."

The river Cephissus near Delphi was sacred to them.

Also, a final tidbit regarding Kharis...

kharis = "favor"

apparently.
