I think thebruce may already be on the road. NightHawk - since he's following you on Twitter, can you post to let him know that mrtoasty and myself are now following him as well. He'll have to follow us too to see anything we post. To send him a message, in the "What are you doing" box -
Quote:
d thebruce0 MrToasty and Pavoreax are following you too
-- or however you want to phrase it, just use "d thebruce0 [message]" to send it.

There are applications that use it, as well as IM programs like GTalk and SMS (text messaging) on your cell phone. You choose people to "follow" where you can see their messages. HHM and I are "following" thebruce now so we can see his Tweets (Twitter messages).

He just Tweeted and said:

Covert op? Pick up and read Faust at the loc'n as a signal for a doc drop perhaps? Hmm... this game IS a coverup after all :p

I can't figure out how to send him messages. Guess I'll find an app somewhere. The API's a fun read. Might consider using it in BC.

Here is Twitter's page with instructions on sending a direct message.

Bruce just called me and gave me the text of the note he got from the girl. He says that she was dressed in some sort of Japanese traditional garb and that's what "Japanese Faust" could have meant possibly.

Edit: There is no traditional article of Japanese clothing I can find that has a name like "Faust". It is, however, a rather popular name used in Anime and video games. There is also a German band called "Faust" and a Japanese band "Brast Burn" which is sometimes called the "Japanese Faust"... I don't think that's it though.

Here is the text of the note. Keep in mind this is my spelling and punctuation since it was read to me over the phone and Bruce's battery is running out of juice.

Quote:
They hung her with my child inside of her. I saved the little girl. But the towns people drowned her too. The histories will be distributed sheet by sheet. Gather a team to piece the truth together before she stops it.

A token of gratitude will find you soon, in the field surrounding Galp. Gotham is not yet safe.

He's not sure if there's anything else he needs to do. There's still the question of the "glass floor" he says. If his phone dies he may need to leave the area and find a free wifi spot to keep working on it.

So. "Glass Floor". Any thoughts?

He said it was hard to read but that's what it looked like. I asked him if the "G" was a capital "G" and he said it was.

His twitter says "Galt". I don't know Toronto well enough, and nothing prominent seems to come up in search.

Anything about John Galt around the tower?

The first thing you find is this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Galt

but I am wondering if the John Galt he is referencing is here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Galt_(novelist)

Some relation to Canda:

In 1824, Galt was appointed Secretary to the Canada Company, a charter company established to aid in the colonization of Upper Canada. While in Canada, Galt lived in Ontario, where he founded the town of Guelph in 1827. The town of Galt in Ontario was named after him. His three sons played prominent roles in Canadian politics; one of them, Alexander, was one of the 'Fathers of the Confederation', and Canada's first Minister of Finance.

A bit of a stretch, but I have to admit -- trying to figure it out in real time is fun. Very Happy

Ther's a Galt Avenue in Toronto, but it's five miles away from the tower.
