It's a tough call. I wouldn't necessarily want to promote this kind of in-game action either. Even if there's no danger specifically from the person(s), it's still a very sketchy time/place to be doing a 'secret' exchange. And were younger people around playing the game, or any other, presented with this event, I wouldn't necessarily condone it.

I don't know if this kind of exchange has been called for in other games, as this isn't typically the genre of game I follow... but from my experience, it is, still, a rather uncouth in-game meeting request.

I'm sure there's a reason for it in the game. It could be that they are wanting this kind of reaction. If you honestly don't feel comfortable doing it, continue to stand by your beliefs, they'll either change their plan of attack or we'll miss out on this page. Either way, I am sure the game can continue no matter the outcome.

Does anyone else think this has something to do with the whole witch motif in the game? Like, thebruce (or whoever) will go and there will be a little coven meeting going on?

oh certainly, if I can find some people to go, I may do it. I'm in no rush, really... it is quite an inconvenience, and I don't know a lot of people in my area, let alone in Galt, who'd be willing to join me...
so this 'task' is not a simple one. I'm sure I'll figure something out, unless there is someone else around for whom this task would be easier...

The trip, nonetheless, is substantially inconvenient for me.

What is the intention of the trip?


- If this is something the game will hang up on, then umm... redesign task?
- Is there no one else around who is closer and more easily able to make this trip?
- Is this just for 'my reward' thus it doesn't matter if I don't go?
- one comment said "await the trail of images to guide you" - still waiting...

And see, that's the fun thing about not having a car and using public transit for everything. A trip to the CN tower up to 2 hours away is more convenient than a trip to a trail in a city relatively next door - I live around the corner from my coach terminal, and the CN tower is a couple blocks from the coach drop-off in Toronto - easy access. This location has no nearby bus routes, and is also a hefty local transit ride just to the city's main terminal (and not worth a coach ticket being that close).

And finding friends who would make the ARG trip, let alone make the trip at night to meet strangers in the dark in a creepy, secluded place for a very seemingly dark-themed game and a secret purpose is on a whole 'nother level of difficult I've already spent a decent amount of $ to get a sheet from Toronto and a fruitless trip to Galt. =/
(don't get me wrong, I'm not upset about that, and it was all my choice, but I can't keep throwing around time and $ like that)

If anyone else is in the area, by all means, go for the trip!
