*sticks head it*

Hey, maybe it means a ring like a band.

A group. A mob. A crowd. A club.

Y'know.

Take a look at this post by thebruce in the waveform thread
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=506415#506415
in which he says:
Quote:
- each world is a 'Ring', in which the synchronizing sport is run to keep its multiple paths of existence closely knit.
- the less any one ring remains synchronized, the more unsynchronized the entire 'ring' of 6 worlds becomes.
- Our world, being unsynchronized, is the 'lost ring'

I think this is getting very close. "Find the lost ring" is tattooed on our 6 amnesiac athletes, so it is their mission. They had to find their way here to this world.

Quick minor report on our latest mission:
I have been reading Diego's blog and the general jist of his latest post is that the Buenos Aires codex sheds a lot of light on his investigations in Brasil. He read a lot of info about Atlantis being truly South America and he has some interesting theories. Basing himself on the parallel geografies revelead in the codex he says that although if Atlantis in this world is south America it obviously has not sunk, maybe it did sink in another world. He says: If we fail to synchronize the labyrinths the reality of the other world could collpase into this one and Southamerica could become covered in water.
Then he asks could the myth of atlantis be a warning "hidden in plain sight" about hte possibility that the alternate realities can collapse into each other? he aslo wants to know what can we do to prevent it and how do the labyrynths and the lost sport come into play in all this.

I;m sorry for doing this so quickly but my internet conncetion has been extremely spastic this morning and I will probably lose it any minute now. We still need to contact Ariadne and Diego, and all the rest for that matter and let them know we are working on getting them all the proper info. Also I think we should consider the post made about Lucie, and see if we can't come up with some sort of cohesive report to then share will all the rest of the agons.

that point about Atlantis was good. Hadn't thought of that - Atlantis disappearing because of a RCC, a crunch in the realities merging them together somewhat.

The 1815 event - I believe at least one major event was noted that year - can also be attributed to a multiverse crunch.

..and to be fair jasper, that was just my understanding based on the theory first mentioned by ikkarus in this thread Wink credit where credit's due; or at least not mispaced =)
