Corey appears to have changed his name when he left - maybe this is something like all those slasher flicks? Something happened in Marfa that these peeps were all related to/involved in, and the killer is knocking people off to get back at them for it?

OK, i can go with that. Someone mentioned that the videos on the website looked like they were from 1969? I can't view them so, I can't see what's going on in them. If that's the case, perhaps they can be linked back to the travels of the Manson Clan before the Tate La Bianca murders? (Hence, the Helter Skelter reference?) Just throwing out ideas?

EDIT: 1969 is way before any of these people were born. The Manson's were based in Cali. Texas isn't THAT far, but I don't recall hearing anything about them traveling to Texas either. Perhaps, the parents of the vicitms are the original offenders, or the whole concept of Helter Skelter is the connection. (Race wars, which I hope it isn't!)

 		One of the Manson goons WAS from Texas (right?). At least, his nick-name was "Tex".

I agree. I find it completely odd that people seem to have an obsession with changing their names... Yeu to Lee, Tayor to Western.. like they want no one to associate them with the past.. I know there's talk about discrimination being the reason, but hey if you were from a town with a psycho killer, you might get discriminated against....

great work with the iphone finds.. I think you all RULE at this, and I'm glad my first ARG is so much fun. w00t!

Oh.. remember how in Kristen's blog it said "I was watching Law and Order on tv and the phone rang.... and then the phone rings again and al she hears is breathing.." ? Well that video on the iphone seemed to correlate with that.. I was wondering what you all thought about that.

 		If Corey Western is indeed Corey Taylor, then there's one connection. The name changes are another connection. The discrimination is a third connection. But what I want to know, is how any of this is helping us in any way?

This hardly feels like a game anymore; it's more like we're watching some horror flick that we have absolutely no control over. The more hints and movies we get, we're no closer to saving these people or finding the killer.

I'm just feeling a little frustrated with the PM at the moment.

 		I'm not friends with Marcus on Facebook - but whoever speaks with him next definitely needs to ask him where he's from. If they're all from Marfa, then we have quite the connection...

Someone should maybe ask Hutchins where Kristin was from originally, too... She and the other girl seem to be the outliers, assuming that Corey, Rob, and Marcus are connected...

EDIT: Nevermind - I got off my lazy butt and friended Marcus to ask about his origins. Someone else can get in touch with Hutchins :-p

We sat back, allowed the idea that Corey and Kristen were random victims and that there was no real motive for their selection and now we're dead. I doubt you'd want us to take the same approach a third time and you wind up dead as well.

Kristen told me about a creepy gym teacher before she died. She was 24 I believe, not sure if you would've been going to school at the same time as her but does the name sound familiar? Blonde, pretty girl, had a girl friend with a name that started with a T I believe.

Look, Marcus, you telling us "i don't know" over and over isn't getting us any closer to saving you or capturing the killer. I'm sorry, but obviously no one else is gonna play bad cop so I guess that's my job. There has to be a connection. You're the only person who can tell me what that is so we can help not only you, but the other two on the list, because I'm not psychic and if I was, I would pry it from your mind right now.

Pardon the skepticism, but I just cannot trust that you are not telling me the whole story.

Then you've just shown me what I've been trying to say all along. When both Kristen and Corey were asked if they knew each other (after both having seen each other's faces in a threatening video) they both said they had no idea who the other was.

But now that you've kindly revealed that they went to prom together, it's obvious that they were hiding something. Maybe it was something they didn't WANT us to know.

Either way, it's your ass, not mine. Here I am being quite generous, helping out a completely stranger, and making your life my responsibility. I don't have to help, you know. Especially if you're not grateful.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to find out if there is a recent anniversary of an event that happened while they were in school, that would've caused this person to decide to seek revenge on these people now. (I say revenge because it would seem that hanging the victims would signify justice, this could be wrong.)
