hockey clock the time is going backwards Has anyone noticed that the clock when Dr Howard walks into the rink (before the cut to the hockey players) is showing 10:28 and when he is examining the object silhouetted behind the sheet it is showing 10:27
---Continuity error or something more....

Correction Lawrence Dixon My apologies.
In my previous post I was referring to Lawrence Dixon and not Dr Howard whoever he may be.

nice, documentary had a similar feel at the end to the Believe campaign.
Anyone else wonder why one of the guys at the rink was wearing a gas mask and the guy next to him wasn't?

It seems to me that the second guy from the Geomorphologists Without Borders is speaking German.

Yes, it's German, and he speaks without any accent.

I cannot. But what I can do is post Baldr's introduction from the Prose Edda, as Dixon states that is what he is reading from.
Quote:
The second son of Odin is Baldr, and good things are to be said of him. He is best, and all praise him; he is so fair of feature, and so bright, that light shines from him.

On any errors in the documentary re-creations, to quote Mr. Byrackk himself:
Quote:
"There's as much truth in documentary film making as there is in a charlatan bending spoons or a woman being cut in half, but nobody ever accuses the magician of dishonesty because we're too busy being entertained. I want to make documentaries that entertain."

You never know, a literal translation might yield something more. Might be hard to dig up someone who has the Norse skills though.

Do somebody noticed the copyright mark at the beginning of the trailer:
Quote:
copyright MCMXCIX Norsk Film Komite
MCMXCIX is actually 1999. Is it an movie from archives (even of IG-time line)? Why does it come now, after 9 years.

If you watch the Developer Diary posted in the OP, you'll see that the game designers found it while doing research for their video game. It's not brand new, but merely a piece of research they used as inspiration for their work.

Indeed 1999. On the "about" page at the NFC site it also says:
Quote:
The Goblin Man of Norway
Director: Howard Byrackk
Cinematography: Georg Fritsche
A Norsk Film Komite and World Film Society Co-production
Colour, Norway 1999
Can't wait to see parts 2 and 3. Why do they tease us like that?
Also, I was trying to take a peek behind the curtain in the Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the page (a la the lost ring!) but it only links to the top of the page.

Norsk Film Komite? Its funny that "Norsk Film Komite" is written wrong. It should be "Norsk Filmkomite", because in norway we write "Norwegian Filmcomity". The word Film and comity should be one word, Filmcomity.
And it is a non existing organization.

If ice was their main concern, then they should be glaciologists , experts in glaciology
