 		Hi. I'm new to this forum, and to ARG as well Smile. I stumbled upon an article in a Norwegian newspaper about the "Goblin Man of Norway" and the possiblity that Microsoft is using a fake documentary to promote a game, so I became interested and did some checking.

First; "Satoiri Kulturformidling Ans" is registerd in the Norwegian organisation registry, and has been since 2003. The CEO is named Hĺkon Jĺtun, and John Frederick Smedstad Moore

Further, both Hĺkon Jĺtun and J.F.S.M. are listed in the white pages.

I think I've found another site linked to NFC, http://www.oslopretenders.com/. Both the names associated with Satori are pretty uncomon, and both (J.F.S.M as John Moore) show up in the team rooster, at least on the old web page. An article there also names John Moore as a close friend of Hĺkon Jĺtun. According to Whois the web address was registered in 2000 though, so I may be way off base Smile

I'll try to decipher the old norse spoken in the video later, but it's 5 in the morning and people are sleeping in the next room. I understand it partly, but I'll have to listen to it a lot Smile

Heh.. On lost and found on the old Oslo Pretenders web site :
"1 black parka-like windbreaker/jacket

I cannot. But what I can do is post Baldr's introduction from the Prose Edda, as Dixon states that is what he is reading from.

What he's saying is correctly quoted except for a missing segment (ellipsed) comparing him with the herb "Balder's Brow". The translation is pretty close, but I'm not so certain about the first spot I ellipsed (was "He is best and all praise him;". I'd chalk that up as artistic licence on the translator's part.

They certainly could be, but glaciers are also helpful in studying past and present day changes in the Earth's geological state and to make predictions about the changes in the future. That's where geomorphology comes in.

This was a REAL documentary. Circa 1999. I remember hearing about it way back then, and in other things since. Lots of the people involved vanished. Most likely the government silencing them. (What they found was /is literally earth shattering, & a danger what they are hiding from us) This is also the reason for a lack of information anywhere on them.
