Considering this thing was found frozen in a glacier and is being kept on the ice in a hockey arena (read: a cold place) the sillouette we are seeing could be a rectangular block of ice that contains the Goblin Man, meaning he/she/it could be of any shape.

Pay specific attention to the circular eye socket and angular "mandibles" present in both photos. The shot on the left is take from Too Human and is one of the principle foot soldiers allied against the protagonist of the game. The shot on the right was posted to the TooHuman.net message boards as evidence of The Goblin Man of Norway as seen in the recent documentary footage.

Looks like a match to me.

Interesting. I still find it curious how if they saw that thing in a slab of ice, their first guess was 'Goblin'. But if the picture on the right is historical or whatever, I guess it would make sense.

I'm sorry I doubted you good sir!

I could be wrong. It's happened once or twice. Wink

I think the photograph is the same robot with the head intact and the body severely damaged, with wiring and circuitry exposed and malformed.

Could be a saxophone though.

I KNEW this was connected to Too Human, but I didn't have any concrete proof. So you can imagine my surprise when I was on Xbox Live and downloaded the newest Developer video, and at the end, I see...a teaser for The Goblin Man of Norway.

That was a total "HOLY S***!" kind of moment.

Looks like I'll be following this one until Too Human's release.

where are the pics on the left from?

and also: at the toohuman.net forums, The Deepfreeze found this:

http://www.thehorrorblog.com/2008/04/01/the-goblin-man-of-norway/

its an article about the film "The Goblin Man of Norway" posted by a "new member"

EDIT
the article (above) mentions another one of Byrackk's films: The Lost Are Now Found
a quick google search yielded the expected: only a forum and, of course, www.norwegianfilmcommittee.org/en/about.html

EDIT again...
in both the article and the Q&A located on the NFC's website, Mark Hoyt (one of the men who found the goblin) is said to have spoken out against the film. apparently there's some tension between Hoyt and Byrackk...

Here's the wikipedia entry for prince of darkness: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_of_Darkness_(film)

It seems like time manipulation is something that features in the film, as well:

Quote:
ollowing the climax, the students return home. An eerie and fragmented foreshadowing dream sequence occurs repeatedly during the film, apparently a transmission from the future year of 1999, each time showing a little more and also providing a final twist.

This thing looks interesting -- I'm in! Very Happy

Searching the library of congress

Hey just thought I'd contribute the fact that Lawrence Dixon (the expert called in) doesn't appear as an author in the library of congress online database nor is there any book by the name of Observed Actualities: Myths & Prehistory (the book he has supposedly written). If the Library of Congress doesn't have it listed -it dont exist. This is definitely an ARG.

Fried Behemoth is back... sort of.

Fried Behemoth (Joen Farls) just re-surfaced with a MySpace page.
I sent him a friend request but haven't had a reply yet. I think the site launched yesterday because his user profile over at toohuman.net was updated at that time.

Here's what he added in the profile...

Crappy translation, but next to no Norwegian translators online.

(sigh) Show part ii already!

Interesting part of the interview with Byrackk (does anyone else thing it's a reference to Prince of Darkness?):

Quote:
NFC: In 'Goblin Man', one of your interview subjects (Mark Hoyt) has actually spoken out against the film. Have you been in touch with him since?

Byrackk: Not really. There was a screening, his first time seeing the film, in which he brought up some of his feelings towards myself and the finished product. I suppose he felt used or twisted. Ultimately, the film is not about him. It's fine if he doesn't like the film. I still thought he was great in it.

O RLY?
