Could it be a smiley face? Hmmm... Am I the only one seeing this? The way I look at it, the "9" kinda looks like a smiley face seen from the side.
It would make sense to have a smiley face considering how the Slusho characters are all so giddy and happy. Just a thought...

9 Swords Tarot Card:
ACTIONS
worrying
doubting all will go well
brooding
making yourself sick over your troubles
going over and over an issue Us??? Nah Not us
feeling anxious and tense
getting worked up
feeling guilty
regretting some offense
refusing to forgive yourself
wanting to turn back the clock
focusing on your "sins"
being hard on yourself
denying that you did your best
getting overwhelmed by remorse
suffering anguish
despairing
feeling you've reached your limits
having sleepless nights
feeling depressed
going through a dark night of the soul
forgetting joy
wanting to cry
Interesting but not to sure there is a relation.

Could the blue comma shape = Magatama, seems to fit in with the Japanese theme.

MAgatama would make sense
They are often found inhumed in mounded tumulus graves as offerings to deities(Clover)

So I think I'm not alone in something about it being familiar. I came up with the horn of a bighorn sheep (from the side, like it's growing out of the sword). Rememeber "horns down"?
Keeping is simple (as in T I D O Wave), I'm guessing something along the lines of swordhorn?
Nothing I'm sure, but I wanted everyone to know I wasted a whole bunch of time thinking about it. Joy!

Two full months I haven't checked these boards....and this the best new info.....and now I have to go to the Slusho site and check it out. Then I can puzzle over it for days -
Oh, I really need a life!

I'm not well versed in Japanese lore, but I've been thinking about it some more and I found a kind of resemblance between the comma shape and a necklace in the second part of the Kishin comic.

Anyone else think this could be a clue? Since the comic is giving us more insight on the origins of Slusho, perhaps this is related...
