Oooo, also! I was playing around with the page and stumbled upon something strange. (using Firefox) If you go to the contest page, and right click anywhere on the page, then click "rewind" so the page pauses, then right click again and click "play", the page will reload with: 2 SWORDS WITH A SWIRL IN IT!!! DUN DUN DUNNNNN!

Dunno... Could just be a glitch. In fact, i'm pretty sure it's just a glitch... STILL, it's something!!

well if you look at the sword thing, and then you lkook at the top of the slusho cup its basically the same thing only flipped vertically!

Keep in mind Slusho is JJ's generic tie in brand not just for Cloverfield, but other potential projects as well...Slusho played no role in the movie and was fairly minimal in the viral campaign. The commercial contest was outside the realm of the movie so this may not be related at all.

I'd like to think it's possible, but need more info. This could be a possible tie in with the movie's premiere in Japan in the next couple of weeks.

It seems to be the pointed seashell that the cultists wear over a sword..

Maybe the cult's symbol.

Perhaps indicating that most of the entire Slusho Happy family is part of the cult of Slusho and that thier.. exhuberance is spilling into the website =)

I'm starting to think that the swirl is the same as on the Clover Cult bracelets, not sure what it represents. The little Clover claws are self explanatory but are the swirls waves, seashells, part of the monster, the monster in a smaller new born state? Dunno.

YES!

Even if this something is nothing I love it. Just... yes. I kind of hope this isn't Cloverfield related but something new and exciting... it's too early to start Cloverfield 2 build-up with the movie coming out in 2009. At least that's how I feel, I just think it'll be too long before we start getting stuff.

hey, first post here Very Happy

(been following the ARG however since it started daily.

if anyone can check the flash script (i don't know how) and find the filename that the .jpg has when it was imported, it would be great if they could post it here.

i'd bet a penny that if we google the file name with the file extension either in google web or images, a site may be found containing the file, possibly the Cult's homepage, if this is their logo/symbol.

Well, whenever they made updates it was on fridays... Then usually they gave us the weekend to go crazy about it with an answer to the update on monday... So I bet monday we will get a little more... How they are gonna clear up the time difference... thats what I wanna know...

Wow, havent seen anything happen on these forums for ages, good to know that something appears to be happening. i would say the best bet is that the symbol is the clover cult symbol.

Im gonna try and look for that image by pulling apart the flash....but im not great at that so.....
