[UPDATE]New site: Rossi's Delicatessen

I found this site after mis-typing the addy to maidenavenuereport.com.

This: http://maidenavenuereport.com./ leads us to the website for Saul Rossi's restaurant. Rossi is Maroni's defender in the latest Gotham Times.

Calling the phone number gives a message listing their hours followed by a message beep.

Cool! I'm a little confused though - how did typing the URL for the report lead you to this site? http://www.rossisdelicatessen.com

Also, the guy's name in the editorials is Saul Rossini, not Rossi. I'm assuming Rossi is just a familiar nickname, so they went with that for the deli.

Rossi was also mentioned in the original gotham cab message:

Quote:
Don't worry about all this stuff in the papers. Now I'm told Garcetti is handling it. Rossi called me this morning. He's got more work. Double the payment. Sounds good, right? If anyone comes to us with questions, we've just got to keep our mouths shut. Understand?

Now the question is, which Rossi is this? There are 3 potentials mentioned on the deli site's 'about us' page: Joe, Randolfo, and Al (Randolfo's Son). Plus the Saul Rossini who wrote the editorial.

Which is more confusing why his place was the former meeting place for citizensforbatman.org

Thursdays, 8pm

Gotham City Community Center #5

1310 Adams Street, Downtown
(moved from Rossi's Deli)

http://www.citizensforbatman.org/

I emailed the join on the citizensforbatman site :

joinSPLATcitizensforbatman.org

reply back was..

Dear Gotham Citizen,

Thanks for expressing your interest in joining Citizens for Batman. The
easiest way you can join is by attending a meeting. Check the web site
for meeting times. If you can't attend, you can always lobby City Hall
to support Batman and stop any talk of his being arrested.

Looking forward to seeing you,

Brian Douglass
Founder and President, Citizens for Batman

Tips rumours email link mailto:tips@maidenavenuereport.com

Recieved a reply back:

Thanks for your tip! Maiden Avenue Report couldn't be as AWESOME as it
is without you, the citizens of Gotham, helping me out. If this tip is
pretty juicy, I'll try to find some confirmation of it and may even
lead with it! And if it's false, I'll figure it out. I always do.

Keep it cool.

Marriage Connection

Go to www.saintswithunschurch.org and type in Joe Candoloro. He is married to a Rossi at www.rossisdelicatessen.com. He's the Joe mentioned in the article. Don't know other connections yet.
