I tried the following URLs, but all gave me 404 errors ...

unagi, did you try combinations of I, L and 1? ie. IL, LI, I1, 1I, L1, 1L ?

First, the artifact codes are always upper case. so the only way an L would be confused for a 1 or an upper case i would be if it were lower case.

I don't think they would mistake an upper case L for a I or a 1.

Second, I've tried 2112, 2II2, 21I2, and 2I12, and none of them worked.

Some other letter may have been read wrong. Sometimes the B and 8 aren't easy to tell apart.

Really, a photo or a scan of the page would be great if possible.

Thanks for your suggestion. Now I have tried nine combinations to find none hits.

For what it's worth, I've tried all 1152 possible combinations of

[8b][3B][J1]C/H[J1]P[8B]/E[68]5K/5MA[8B]/2[1LI][1LI]2

I'm suprised the site is still responding to me. Wink

Think I'll wait for the scan now..

Wow... joeyhess someone should give you a medal!

(Hey, erm, sorry to be a pain, but did you try it with the PRUVO url or with PRUVODEREHAVIGO in the side commands itself?)

I was of the understanding that the PRUVO url only worked after the PRUVODEREHAVIGO code had been entered into the site. Was I wrong? :S

Yep. In fact, the code never seems to work directly into the site until a couple days after its found... each time we've bypassed it with the url first.

EDIT: I've dropped him another message asking him if he can include a closeup of the code when he uploads the pics...

the direct URL link hs always been active for when the artifact was found - manually entering retrieval code into the omphaputer is what isn't always ready at the same time.

if the code is getting a 404, either this is the first time the PDF wasn't prepared in time, or we've got a character or two wrong. I wouldn't worry about attempting the omphaputer retrieval code yet. Keep working on the URL Wink
