YES, definitely. We have 7 people attending. There were others that WERE attending, but are now just watching. Sad

Bring your friend (username=resonations?) and anyone else!

Despite the cold, foggy conditions, our May 17th labyrinth run in Golden Gate Park was a success. Attendees:

Ariock
Cineball
DavFlamerock
Momonga + friend
RangerD
Me

If I am not mistaken, San Francisco (DavFlamerock at 15.25 seconds) holds the current world record for a three circuit labyrinth, beating Wellington's 16 second record.

RangerD and Ariock should be posting some pictures and videos soon.

We also experimented with different arrangements of the walls while DavFlamerock, our blindfolded labyrinth runner extraordinaire, accurately cruised the labyrinth, much of it with no wall at all. I am looking forward to seeing some of those videos.

Shocked That's phenomenal!

Can't wait to see the video.

Man, when I tell our Wellington runner, she's going to be so fired up! Smile

The next training labyrinth will be on Saturday, June 7 at 2:00 pm and this will definitely be synchronized with New York. I'm hoping that Wellington, as well as many other cities, will get in on the act. I hope everyone can make it!

Videos from our last training session.
(disclaimer: these are right before Dav got REALLY good at the labyrinth.)

Also, two loaded on Google Vids:

Link 2
These are from before the Youtube video. You can tell we're working the bugs out.

It's interesting to see a version where the walls actually travel along with the runner (when not having to switch to the other side) rather than individual people getting out and running to the end of the line. I wonder if that is what helps make it faster?

We totally stole this idea from the people in Madrid. We tried it the other way and it just wasn't working with the number of people we had. If Ranger D (HINT HINT, Mr. D!) ever gets around to posting his videos, you can see what we ended up doing, which was different from what you see here.

Cool! Ok, but one thing...did you touch the walls at any point in that run? It is hard to tell from a video. If not, that is one superstar run! Thanks for sharing!

Touching the walls is allowed. Knocking the walls down is not.
