 		[RING][EMAIL] Markus - 3/6 "We must hide!"
After sending out emails about Markus' second video to the other Olympiads/Athletes... What are we calling them? Maybe we should ask their opinion.

Ariadne sent me a reply which I mentioned in the trailhead thread. For simplicity, I'll just summarize that she says he's in flight mode. He is very insistent that they should hide.

I have not received an email from him in response to my last one, nor have I seen him online this morning yet. I don't think it's been long enough to establish a pattern of what a normal routine is but I'm concerned he is trying to pull away.

I would encourage people to contact him and let him know that he now has friends who don't want him to disappear. Whether that is intentional or unintentional.

Here's my email to him after the Google Translator has had its way with it...

 		Someone posted "Tattoed Athletes" in the main thread today. "TA" works for me.

Why does Markus want to hide? He spent the time & effort to publically announce he has amnesia, he's in York, and wants to know his identity. Does have have some deep rooted fear of Mr Eli Hunt?????

Actually, I used "Tattooed Amnesiacs" , borrowing from the wiki and thought "TA" (Like in Teacher's Assistant) went well with kona's spec from yesterday.

 		Am I wrong in thinking that Mr. Hunt and Kai starting to add the other TA's blogs to 'findtheloststring' happened at or around the same time? Maybe it's Kai that doesn't sit right with Markus.

Markus has surely seen Kai's videos, right?

I'm definitely weary about Eli, but something about Kai just really bothers me... Of all of the 'friends' each TA(and thank you Kona xD) has made he's definitely the most prominent.

 		If Ariadne is hell-bent on flying to England, perhaps we can direct her and Markus to meet? Particularly if we don't get any leads on the venue of Eli Hunt's lecture.

Could Markus' showing fear and wanting to hide have something to do with the fact that his attribute is courage (thumos), i.e. he is being cowardly and we somehow need to help him (re)find courage?

I contacted Markus regarding the Codex and the personality test. I will post only english translatiosn. The original German text could be found soon on the wiki:

I think this is a good message. He takes courages again. Unfortunately he did not answered my questions regarding the personality test. I will send him a German translation of Ch.1 asking him if I should send him all per email or putting them into the forum.

 		Well done. He does sound like he needs a bit of a boost from us to help pick himself up a bit. Perhaps if a couple of other German speakers contacted him, along the same lines, he'd be less afraid and more inclined to answer the bits he didn't mention this time. Sadly, my German is even worse than my basic (and very rusty) French, so I don't think I'd help him much!

And if you can work together on translating the Codex for him, that would be great Very Happy

 		Yes, indeed. I have written Markus an email and included four of my/our concerns in it. They are as follows:
* Do you already know about the "Codex Of The Lost Ring"?
* Are you still in contact with Ariadne?
* What do you think about being more courageous and more acting like a wall of defense for those who have done that things to you? (I told him that whave e discussed that lately because of him recognizing thumos696)
* What do you think of meeting Ariadne, since she is in Cardiff right now? (This was discussed in Markus' forum where he didn't give any answer about his opionion on that topic)

So this is what he wrote back to me:

So his courage is growing. Do you have any ideas about how we can help him with that? Maybe we find a "special" puzzle or task for him, where he can show his growing courage?
