I just thought. Where in New York is Teddy Hansen? Like Waldo? I wonder if this is just for a laugh on their part or an actual clue.

just looking at the facial structure it looks like him even more so than the vid guy...
i also like the theory that he came off the tanker because just the look on his face is not really shock as much as 'ok i am here now what am i going to do'

You guys fail to realize something: WHO is reporting Teddy missing?

If he's in deep cover and nobody knows about his whereabouts, he might APPEAR missing, but he could very well appear on camera in the oddest of places (like in the video).

The missing poster is not a law enforcement poster; it looks like something whipped up by the TIDOWave group, and they're stapling it to telephone poles trying to find him. But Teddy might be out there, not telling TIDOWave where he's at, trying to uncover the truth.

Even I'm convinced it was the same guy. Yeah he could quite possibly be going to meet Jamie, as soon as he escaped. Now the question is, is TEDDY himself putting the sword logos everywhere?

no i doesnt have to mean anything but guess what that is the whole point of this forum for people to bounce ideas off of each other and there being a guy in the movie that looks just like a guy that is on a missing person poster on an offical site is the whole point of an ARG it is a game so keep playing in spite of naysayers

Now, the question is.. which side of Jason did he end up on when MGP crushed the bridge? did we see him get ahead of our heroes? or did he halt earlier?

it's interesting that he is right there in the shot, close up. there has to be a reason for it, with him looking just like teddy. remember how they showed Jamie, passed out on the couch. he definitely pans to her and pauses, like we were supposed to notice her there.

I definitely think it is the same "actor" that is seen in the missing poster...

However, I'm not sure if it's Teddy on the bridge! It may just be reusing the same guy who has already signed a release for his face on "screen time," whether it be computer screen or film screen... I honestly don't the specifics of these kinds of film processes but this just makes sense to me.

Granted, it seems that JJ is not known for focusing on much that isn't directly relevant to the story.

I think it would be an excellent plot point that Teddy somehow survives the wreck of the Tagruato ship and escapes capture and tries to return to Jamie finally, only to be stopped by the monster.

Although he doesn't have a camera, it would also be an interesting twist if a possible sequel is told from another perspective is Teddy revealing background information on Tagruato and later getting caught, escaping and then trying to survive the attack we have already seen.
