What's with all this morality being thrown around?

I will buy this movie because it's had a big influence on my day to day life for almost a year now, and that deserves my $20.

But I DO download movies, a lot. And I bet most of you do too, so don't get all high and mighty when you tell people not to download it.
Personally I don't understand why, if this movie has been so impactful on all of us, that all of you wouldn't go out and get a nice shiny copy of it. Simply put, it's a great film and I want to support it so I will be able to see more of this type of thing in the future. But i don't always have $20 for every movie that I like so I'll download a lot as well. I'm sure I've given Universal, Sony, Paramount, etc enough money over the years and I don't fell bad for stealing once in a while. (It's like when your at the subway and the ticket guy's not there. What? Are you really gonna pay? You've given them enough over the years, and their prices are too high anyways, just like DVD's.)

I bet all of you do-gooders who are SO appauled that someone would download a movie have had mediocre copies of this for months. So shut up, don't tell people what they should do, and do your own thing.

I'm buying this. But not because someone told me to.

I'll be the first to admit I download movies but generally I have a rule of thumb for it. Mostly I only download movies that aren't American, that I'd be ashamed to be seen with the DVD, or when I don't want to pay for a Futurama movie that is essentially a really long episode.
I would never download a copy of Cloverfield because it's so awesome a movie that I want to support it and because you tell me the steel book edition doesn't kick serious ass.
