 		So the cult has known about the monster, I mean "God" for a long time. (They definetely got inspiration from Cthulu.) and to awaken it some sort of ritual has to happen. There is mention from the cult leader that "they" (which i beleive to be Tagruato.) want to misuse the monster... SLUSHO! any thoughts? I looked up vestige by the way:

i saw a much earlier post about whether or not this manga will be canonical with the film events.

i'm really hoping so. wouldn't it suck if they made the film, and then figured they'd make a random, cool manga, too?

i think they will tie-in. we all know, the movie said jack about the monster, why it was, where it was from, etc. so even if the events were from it destroying the city from some drunken kids eyes, that wouldn't necessarily discount this mythological/genetic/insane backstory. plus, the manga has jj's name on it.

by the way... anyone else ordered hasbro's figure yet?
