Maybe they are portraying that the slusho is putting people into a state of "bliss" so much that they dont even realise pain or whatnot. maybe that was the whole point of slusho, get the world do consume it that way they wont even realise that the world is being destroyed, making it that much easier to wipe out mankind.

yeah cause sure if u get hit from the back youd have a suprised look im sure. but after wouldnt he look in pain at least? but he dosent, he looks like a laughing zombie, like in a slusho coma i guess lol. not to mention that the initial pic of him with the blood coming from his face thats not the usual suprise pain anime face. i cant exactly explain, it just dosent look like he is in pain. also the rough translation saying hey people?, whats wrong? why do you put your face like... *cough* he is saying that as the blood is pouring from him. so he said that after he got hit or during getting hit.
