Thanks. I notice it's named "wafel" (sic).

That's because it's a stroopwafel.

Can anyone tell me what exactly that is and how it pertains to ARG's? I already know about how it's made and where and all that nonsense ( thanks for the wiki link!) but I dunno in what context we would appropriately use it...

Please don't sully this thread with rationality and logic, just accept the S-waffle for what it is , a disgusting representation of the light side of pastries...All Hail The Brownie!!

P.S. If you can't think of how we can use it you're maybe not old enough to be on here Wink Oh sorry, just noticed you said "appropraitely" I think the appropriate use is to eat it?? Strange I know, the other uses are waaaaay better Twisted Evil

So if I consume all pastry, light or dark, without prejudice and with extreme voracity - does that make me the master of all?

Stroopwafel
:wafel:

I'd use the stroopwafel as an expression of appreciation and approval towards someone who has created something remarkable out of nothing.

Apparently the stroopwafel is incredibly tasty and addicting. A friend of mine had one while he was in Europe last summer, and... well, let's just say he's put on a few pounds since then. According to the history of the stroopwafel, the first few were made from crumbs and miscellaneous leftovers. Here at Unfiction, this could be symbolic of the process of following an ARG; little by little, players collect crumbs as they progress through an ARG, and by the end, all their crumbs amount to something more grand and delicious than what they started with.

So, perhaps at the end of an ARG, if you approve of how it turned out or feel like the PM(s) went above and beyond in delivering a fun experience, use a wafel!

Works for me. But maybe we should ask whoever put it in here. Who was that, anyway? I want to give them props on the wiki.

Whereas, if you have to ask...

I did laugh when I saw that (I've been majorly lurking in that thread).

If I could summon up the effort I'd look back for Jabba's exact quote, but to paraphrase - when I read that I think I wet myself a little... Twisted Evil Embarassed Twisted Evil
