This isnt even close yet, The Rivard Project has almost 20 pages and it still has half a week before it starts. (of course we dont know how long we have here so keep typing we could win yet!)

Yeah but TRP does have websites and stuff out there...this doesn't even have that yet, and anyway TRP cheated by having 3 threads, so really it's only like 7 pages long.

does anyone have any ideas about what they think the game is going to be about?

I was intrigued by the LeGuin quote and the capability of the blogging software to date entries at any time - past, present or future . Even if Left Hand of Darkness is only a sort of philosophical touchstone it will still make for a different sort of game. I know the PM is a science fiction fan and LHoD is arguably LeGuin's best adult novel, but whatever direction this ultimately takes, even if it's just a large scale beta test of the Brainclouds system, I know it will be interesting and will have a low likelihood of implosion.

Who knows? It's probably too early to tell. By all accounts it's a good read though (I've not read it).

It is an excellent read. It's been in publication continuously since it first came out in 1969. Yeah, it's almost 40 years old. One of my favorite SciFi novels.

I don't know, do you like scifi? If so, yes, you should have read it. It won both the Hugo and Nebula awards for best novel (both fans and writers thought it was the best of the year, an unusual achievement). For the game? Who knows.
Wiki article .
